@@FinnickH People who enjoy diy projects and crafts usually have separate supplies for that purpose. I bought baking sheets at a dollar store and also picked up an inexpensive iron, which is designated for crafts only. Irons are also a tool that can be used to melt wax. We're not wasteful, crafter's are skilled at finding clever ways to make pretty things at home instead of buying decorative items, which can be expensive.

Cerridwen Brown how is this “much less sanitary” to rewax when they wear out, when you reuse them all the time and simply wash them after each use? If you’re that worried about it, you can just place them in between a few layers of paper towels and run a iron over them to kill any possible bacteria or germs it may have accumulated and then rewax them
@monkiram
@monkiram 5 лет назад
There's no reason it should be less sanitary. Rewaxing it is actually more sanitary than just reusing it because you've just given it a proper washing with hot water and soap, whereas when you're reusing the wrap, you just rinse it in warm water.

I remember the first video I saw of yours, it was the Effie trinket makeup, and from the instant I started watching I have adored and loved you. The way your videos where mesmerized me and they had such a warm glow to them I would watch them all. I’ve missed your videos so much over the couple years you where gone on this channel and your others. To this day, even tho I may not love it as much as your makeup and SFX videos, I still adore you and how you make your videos. The way you film is a big reason but an even more moving way is your voice. It is so nastalgic to begin with because every time I hear your voice it takes me back to when I was just 13, I am almost 20 now. Your voice is also very calming and soothing, your child is so lucky to have you as a mother. It is so hard to explain the feeling of just hearing you makes me feel. It’s like there is only good and warm things in the world. I’ve missed you so much Klaire and you have and will always be one of the most influential and amazing people I have ever known. Thank you for all that you do and have done. There is so much more I want to say but just don’t know how right now. We love you so much! ♥️ Thank you.

If you use the thinnest cotton you can find and add some jojoba oil or coconut oil, just toss the pellets into some oil just to cover them before you sprinkle. The thinner fabrics are much more flexible and therefore go around jar tops etc and the small amount of oil allows for more tackyness. The original Bees Wraps use the Jojoba oil. Thanks for this video...its so important to get away from clingfilm x

Hi, thanks for the video! Nice alternative to plastic wrap! May I ask you which type of fabric gives the best performance (e.g. 100% cotton)?

Cotton, linen (go for a tight weave) and hemp.

Add some coconut oil or a few drops of jojoba oil in the melting process and they will last longer and be more pliable. When they start to lose a little wax you can iron between parchment paper or pop back in oven so it can re melt!!
