maybe old stipped wire from a cord or electrical wire that's coated - just leave the coating on it and use it. Lots of options.

I just tried this and the glue wont hold the paracord in the shell casing. I could pull it right out. What am I doing wrong???

Might be something in the shell, maybe dirt got in there, and reamember it is where the burning happens so sud also, clean it out

Where did you buy your electrical wire from? I bought mine at Home Depot and it's no where near as stiff as your wire

This is the "Copper Electric Wire".I had it at home,but you can use any other similar wire which can be covered with gutted paracord.

Where does one find such casings (empty)? Most I find on e-Bay or Amazon are already filled, crafted or wrong sized.. I do not live near a shooting range either - thanks!
