If you are a partner and you have shareholders agreement no one can kick you out because now they have to pay you a million a year. You were there from the beginning. so taking that chance, and getting paid pennies when no one would work for that much that hard you deserve to make that million.

If you fire the web guy, he still keeps his equity assuming it's vested. Almost impossible to revoke your partners' equity

I may be wrong in how I heard it but it seems like he was talking about the partnership agreeing with releasing the web guy as opposed to the web guy being the partner. Either way if you have a dedicated designer outside of the partnership I’m sure it comes with a contractual agreement. Purely speculative what I’m saying it’s just what I read into it.

It depends on the partnership agreement - it could be at the discretion of the 90% partner. On the other hand, if it were registered as a company, then yes - The 90% cannot take away the 10% equity share

I thought this video was going to provide objective advice - for example, the key documents required in order to ensure that someone does not screw you over" Sitting down and talking only works with the partner is not blinded by money lol good luck convincing someone that does not care and just wants to increase their wallets.

This guy lost me when he started trying talking about how much money his students make. I have never heard a university teacher brag about how much money his students make. A professional would focus on the job. People don't realize success does necessarily mean wealth. Otherwise, why would we go to college? Teachers don't make as much money as business owners. Why not just work for your boss for free, if wealthy is a measure of a teacher.
