Those are very clever and doable solutions to a really annoying problem. You'd think all car manufacturers would get wise and offer extendable visors. Back in 2007, Toyota's cheapest car the Yaris had beautifully made extendable sun visors so you know there really is no excuse excluding them on cars other than to reduce costs a tiny bit.

Hell yea man. I was thinking about inventing one of these. Then I realized it was already invented. Then I thought about buying one until I saw your video. So thank you very much for giving me ideas on how to save myself $6. Impost cars don't have extensions, even newer cars don't have them.

Hmm maybe a ponytail holder would fit around my visor because you cannot easily move material with binder clips. I knew there was a way to make my own vs buying one. Thanks for ideas.

I'm lucky. They thought of that on my Impala Limited (Old body Style). I have the nice extending ones that slide on the rod. They are also useful at night when the work crews have those lights going.

Love the pull out extension on my Yukon and the second flip down visor under the main visor. Wish all my vehicles had such good sun protection from the Arizona blinding killer sun.

Live in Australia where all cars need them. Notice the Subaru has then built in. Been doing this for years. All car should have them.

If you pull it..it extends

Car visors are already made to extend! Just pull it out from the left, it slides across the metal bar it's attached to and it will cover those few inches!

Or you can pull the visor back!

I thought all cars had extenders until I bought a Volvo. I was shocked when my visor didn't extend to block the sun. I couldn't believe it. Maybe the angle of the sun is different in Sweden

I just keep a baseball cap or visor in my car and tilt it on my head as needed
