Oh .....a tip. Always cut the grape stems to 3 or 4 grapes. Its easier to pick up as a serving. Most people will leave the bunch of grapes in table if they are left whole.
Giiiirrrrrlll! My boyfriend's company (that he works for) has a Christmas party every year at a fancy country club. They have the same grazing table every year. Yours PUTS IT TO SHAME! So so well done. Bravo 👏
A board of cheese and fruits is not charcuterie ... Chaire = flesh .... Charcuter. IE .. féminin ... Like y in english ,.... Philosophie ... Thé english put a y in the 17 th century ( cent = hundred ) to make the.french vocabulary more greek , when it have no one y in greek ... So ... Do You know what name of a french charcuterie ? Andouille de guemenée ? Ham of burgondy ? Mussel vinaigrette ? ... If You know butchery ( from ...boucherie , féminin noun , bouche = mouth , Boca ) You will know some name , same for the charcuterie , try by one speciality , its like to know the burger but to never put your feet in a fastfood and to don t know a name of a burger.... Go in a charcuterie at first
We used to always do a charcuterie board for Christmas Eve…great way to entertain less formally! Good job! You’ve inspired me to do one for my neighbors! Thanks for all the tips! You make this all look easy!
I am so glad I found this video. I came from a big family and everything used to be big and fabulous with so much food and so much fun… And then my parents died. So, now we're scattered across the United States, and it's very hard to try to put that back together, and sometimes we manage and sometimes we don't. SO, I was thinking this year is it I just wanted to have a simple Thanksgiving with my son and his two teenage sons but I wanted to keep it fun and simple so that nobody felt overwhelmed. I had already been thinking about a lot of finger type of food including the desserts because I seen a video where you make your pies in the muffin tins in different - sizes of muffin tins, in fact.. from petit to medium size, so that people can pick them up off of a cake plate and just pop them in their mouth as they go by instead of having to get out a bunch of China plates and silver and making it a formal event of now we're having dessert. I had already decided how I wanted to incorporate my different pieces of furniture into a cozy atmosphere and not go into the formal dining room this year. Have more of a focus on a appetizer and dessert and now that I seen your video I'm even more certain what I want to do. I really LOVE your layout and As an artist, this is right up my alley! I cannot tell you how excited I am now for this coming Thanksgiving.! This is so amazingly exciting & I can hardly wait for Thanksgiving to get here. And I'll probably do something similar for New Year's as well. I think that will be with friends. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ EVERYTHING LOOKED BEAUTIFUL & STUNNING❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
It's our turn to host the book club next month and I had the idea of a charcuterie buffet. Imagine my joy at coming across this video. Thank you so much!
Love your talent. I made this for a company leadership holiday party a few years ago. I don't believe the term charcuterie was known. This arrangement along with a crock pot full of meatballs was a big hit. No one left hungry. Thank you for sharing.
It’s fabulous. My only suggestion would be to completely cover your pool table with a white cloth (sheet perhaps) before to start add your boxes that add height. Amazing selection.
Omg. There wouldn't be one person in the room that would flock to this table more than once. It just looks so inviting. A show stopper for sure. New subby here , definitely.
My husband won’t allow anything on his pool table . So for a wine tasting I had cut plywood sheets to cover it and then used a table cloth . I love your ideas and thank you for sharing. Visually arresting and delicious choices.
Beautiful! I used to be a server for a caterer and we did spreads like this often. The only thing I would add is instead of putting dry items in bowls, tuck things like crackers and wrapped items right on your tablecloth between the things that need to be in a bowl or on a cutting board. For example the crackers and bread line up around the board or plates your cheese is on. Fill empty spaces with flowers or other decor.
I couldn't even pronounce 'charcuterie' much less prepare one but after watching I'll try my hand at making a small one for me and my husband to snack on. If I mess up I can always eat the mistake and start over...he'll never know the difference. Your completed table looked fantastic. Thank you very much for sharing. Take care.
Anastasia is the absolute TRUTH!!! YEEESSS!!!!From start to finish, complete perfection! Beautiful! Thank you so much for making this tutorial.I feel totally empowered to make a table full of some of my favorites and I owe it all to you for showing me how to do it well.
My presentation isn't so elaborate, and it's usually a MUCH smaller group dining, but this is the traditional meal for Xmas Eve in my family. Just fruit and cheese, some veggies and meat, might do shrimp or mussels. Olives, pickles, little toast points, etc. Then Xmas morning while opening gifts, champagne (well, sparkling wine) and chocolates. Xmas dinner, I like what my boyfriend's mom does; roast prime rib with Yorkshire pudding!
I always did a 'box' under the tree for the kids and me. Beef stick, cheeses, a nice jam, some nuts and a few pieces of chocolate and strawberry candies. I'd also wrap 3 boxes of crackers together. I'd put it all 'mid layer', so after the socks and sweats but before the back of the tree 'good' presents. That morning, I'd put on the kettle for hot cocoa, slice some apples, pears and get some grapes out of the fridge...easy and relaxed.
🇨🇦 I am amazed at the amount of food on that table! It all must have been expensive to do. Very artistic too, I liked the set up of the whole thing, staggered heights on the table you can walk around. I was so happy to see candied bacon was used❣️. I will see if I can find that first video now.
I am mesmerized ! That is beautiful! Ive always wanted to make a Charcuterie board but had no idea where to start. Setting up the table with the boxes and cloths was inspiring.
Christmas at our house again this year... I'm so doing this! I usually just have trays out on the table, but I love the different heights! And spreading out everywhere is beautiful!
Wow! This is what happens when I have guests/ am invited to a food event! I go in hard with all the goodies! Great job! It's always great to be able to send ppl home with a little gift of food. I get some Dollar store lunch bags for this purpose. Great job with different heights, tablecloth and eucalyptus! I have a white sheet and a black sheet I can use.
There isn’t anything on that table that I wouldn’t want to try. My husband would “camp out” beside it or make a rut in your floor with the number of trips he’d make back and forth. I especially liked the looks of the cheese log, the way you displayed the Gouda rind side up staggering the slices and the honey with comb display. There’s something for everybody. You did yourself proud.
😂. That was funny, your husband making a rut in the floor going to get the food lol. But I think I would do that too, it all looked so good and well done.
Wow! That table is absolutely stunning!😀I’ve just recently been to a children’s party. The table was set out similar to this one. Didn’t know it had a special word for it though. I might give it a try myself next time I’m entertaining 😂Thank you my dear for showing how it is done Just beautiful 😀❤️
I can’t believe people criticized you for not washing the containers on cámara. Everything looks so beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful demonstration and ❤Great ideas.
I am applauding you. You are so organized and everything came out so beautiful and delicious looking. Please invite me to your next party! TFS. Toni in Beautiful Colorado
Thank you. Loved your video ! This is such a great idea ! You have inspired me for the holidays. Our house is small making it difficult for formal dinners. This would be perfect ! 👏❤️
