That is such a versatile idea. It can save you money by just doing that simple trick. Now I know what to buy. Instead of buying expensive bench vise, I will try that idea of yours !!
Thank you, you just saved me roughly $16-$20 with this design!!!! FOR NOW, I do not need to go out & buy Pipe Clamps to make myself a bench clamp!!!! Thank you again for such a SUPER SIMPLE idea/design!
I was trying to think of a way to do this, and just kept coming up short. I was in my mind, using pipe bar clamps, and there wasn't a good way of adjusting the pipe length. I also had over complicated the whole affair. I thought about it on and off for months. Along comes Sergio with the simplest of solutions and a vice that is useful. I give you AAA+++ for thinking outside the box. Good job. It was so easy to do, no time at all. The only thing I have left to do is go to the store tomorrow and get some kind of angle bolt, or make something that will work, but that is easy. GREAT JOB!
Thank you Sergio, as usual your knowledge and creativity is greatly appreciated, I'm making this for my little shop, one more addition that you contributed to my projects
Segio. Hi from 🇨🇦. That is the most straight forward and easy to follow video. Thanks for saving me LOTS of money. I will add this to the other end of my work bench. This is truly a money saver . Keep up the great videos please.
You all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Colson Angelo i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Ingenuity and make do with what you have in a workshop filled to the brim with sustainable appropriate technology masterpieces . Just like it is here. Bravo!
Fantastic and so simple to make, you have shown that even for someone like me an enthusiastic DIY novice around woodworking anything is possible...Well done that man for empowering us to take up the challenge...👌👍👍
I've been making my homemade woodworking projects for years without a workbench vice. Now I see I should make this vise long time ago :D Thanks for watching
Ok Sergio, so simple, so fast. It took about a half hour to an hour. The only thing I had to change was the L bracket to an eye bolt as I couldn't find a bolt pre bent or one I could bend where I live. I put an eye bolt on each side of the clamp and put a hitch pin in to hold the clamp. (hitch pin, think of a strong bobby pin). I'm up and running now. Thanks again.
Thank you very much , I really wanted a vice without using pipe clamps cause its not available where I live , but these clamp are available . Good job , keep up the good work .
This is awesome. Last winter I tried to build a simple vice but I did not succeed. In the end I found it too complicated and I did not finish it since that time. This looks so much easier. One of my next projects. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Sergio, good job, however it could be easier with just the square hooks, a pair of standard clamps and any piece of fairly thick wood. On my workbench I have a higher apron with dogholes in which I use doghole clamps or modified F-clamps and a piece of scrap wood.
What a extremely versatile vise!! You can put additional slots to hold your clamps further away for wider peices , use longer clamps. I will adapt this to my job site bench!! Thanks
Hi Sergio, first, your channel is brilliant, so many designs and ideas. I’ve just completed your moxon vice, easy to make and simple to use plus completely removable.. Thanks. 👍👍
Great idea! I've been in need for a simple vice for a while. The other "cheap" solution I've found uses pipe clamps, but I don't have a drill press to accurately drill the holes for them. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this idea. It just pulled out of a thinking spiral of how to install a removable moxon vise. You´ve got yourself a new subscriber :)
