Made this twice. First time followed the recipe but too bland (used Danos original seasoning). 2nd time added Mushrooms and used chicken mushroom soup. Added that umami flavor but needs acid. This has potential and I like how easy it is. Gonna try lemon pepper seasoning (with some lemon juice) or some Frank's red hot next time for some heat and acid....

At 350 degrees for an hour and a half you could cook a whole chicken. You know there was no reason to check the temperature. That entire casserole dish would read over 200 degrees no matter where you probe it. All that time was just to get the rice cooked.
