I'm so excited to try the cranberry orange garland this year. It must make the house smell wonderful.

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial on making a Christmas garland. I love home made and natural ornaments. I appreciate the tips to stringing the garland. Didnt think of fishing line. Happy Holiday Season. 😊

If you use a clipboard to hold the loose end of the fishing line, you'll find it much more easily controlled. You can even push it under a heavy bowl to hold it. That's how I do macrame. Gotta hold those loose ends!!

So beautiful! How long do you think the cranberries last and look nice? Or did they look nice and dried over time?

They dried slowly on our tree, but stayed nice for a couple of weeks!

How many bags did you end up using?

I ended up using about 2 1/2 bags for my entire tree. I had to make a ton of other things to use up the extra cranberries 😂

Would it help to turn the convection fan on?

I don't have a convection oven, so I personally haven't tried this. I would think you could turn the convection fan on and have them in the oven for a reduced period of time. You would still need the temperature on low, have them on a rack to dry on both sides, and watch them for the correct consistency. I'm not sure if this answer helps, but it's my best guess without actually having tried with convection.
