Best video out there, and the only one showing how to do it properly ,cheers! Works as well with galvanized sheet metal, just tried it.

How do you determine the radius at the transition? It could be just about anything, from very gradual to zero. I imagine that the metal would tear if you tried to turn it over with no radius, thus the need for the radius. But is there a formula or rule of thumb that tells you just how gradual the radius needs to be?

Simple. Look at it from the side and draw it. Mark the two legs.

Nice work but doing all those steps will take up half the work day. In California we have way more easy ways and very efficient to flash a chimney.

There is a reason we all make fun of California roofers. This method would last 200-300 years in California's dry climate. Would you say the same about your technique?
