i spawned a vehicle in and then pressed f1 to check and see if there was a crew inside but i didnt see any prompt come up. i also cant have any of my troops (tankmen specifically) enter the vehicles it wont let me put them in
When I try using my numpad it doesn't work, but it's only on CTA, and also my soldiers don't follow the waypoints, other then that the video was great!
Not really an expert in making custom breeds or units but I there are various guides out there on how to make mods for Call to Arms. You can even use a mod that comes with units as sort of a template to make sure files match.
My units are ignoring the waypoint stuff. They don't move at all. Also, I can't take control over any of the units. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Make sure the units have the tags. If the unit is part of the map and not the mission then they would ignore waypoints. I am not sure why you could not control units.
Question for ya Noober, Will you ever be doing a video on basic reinforcements/reinforcement menus? I've been searching for a video on this was wondering would you ever do one?
I have not done one and will not likely be doing one in the future. I have tried expeirmenting with the menu but has always ended up failing. I also barely understand what I am doing to make a tutorial on it. If I find a solution, then a video will come.
how do you rotate? Also controls like deleting and rotating and such would be a nice detail to know, cause i keep seeing rotate but i try it and it dont work so please tell me or anyone else who knows
To roatate the camera you hold down middle click and drag your mouse. To rotate objects you hold down C and Right Click then drag. To delete objects you click on the object you would like to delete then press the delete button on your keyboard.
Hey, I was just wondering if you knew how to fix my mouse on Call to Arms. When I use other Apps or games the mouse works fine, but when I open Call to Arms, I have to hover ABOVE a button (Like good 1-2 cm above) to be able to click on it. I am unsure what I need to do so yeh.
Set up a trigger that contains an actor_state. You can set up a tag for the units you want to increase the health of. In the actor_state, select the tag and then scroll down to the health section.
how to play newly created map as in the original missions in the game. i tried many ways but couldn't find a way to directly control units. they all fight all like ai. can you tell me how to tchange that please
Creating playable missions for the game can be complex. That is getting to levels that i do not really know. For a template, i recommend you download the air land warfare mission pack and check mod resources to see how it is structured.
By the way, a very good explaining video 🫵💪 I know this might be late. But can you maybe help me? When I have two teams. One blue and one red. Can I select the blue ones and put them on vehicles and cannons etc. But if I want to do it with a red team, it doesn't work somehow. Team red ignored. Complete the vehicles and the guns. I don't know how to get them to use those things? Because let's say I have all the teams on blue. place all And then switch teams at a certain group. Automatically exit the vehicles and cannons. And since it's a red team then obviously I can't get them to get back in. Or use the cannons. Can you help me?
There should be a setting on the model that allows you to change the model. It will be a dropdown. You will have to scroll down on the soldier to find it. To change weapons you need to access the inventory editor. Ther should be a number button on your keybaod that does it and when ever you see a pop up, click inventory.
Are you in the editor because if you are then there should be a start button in the top left of the screen. Try pressing F1 on your keyboard to go into game preview.
