Maaaan, If I was not listening you I could have it working earlier, the thing is, NOT horizontaly cut it (at least in my case), but vertically cut it and it works!
How much would be the total price of shipping x1 piece 32'' to Spain please? ^^, and another question, what are the measures that you have of the product, only 32'' or does it also have a 50''?@@om_is_hobby
@@Lito_SanchezPuedes comprar un monitor o tv led rota por Wallapop y sacarle tu mismo la lamina reflectora! Es lo que tengo pensado hacer ya que desarmé una tele qled estropeada y no tiene dicha lamina...
I took apart an old TV do do this, got the film and cut it. But when I hold it up to my monitors I have to have it about 1 inch away for the effect to work. How do you get it to sit on the monitors?
hello there. thx for your interest. I use a double sided tape on upper and bottom side. the gap/space between monitor and the film is depend on your corner angle. Next time I'll show you how mine works on a short video.
@@om_is_hobby ok I didn’t think about the angle of the monitors. I will mess with the angle this afternoon when the kids are napping 😂 thank you for the quick response
@@JustinWoodTV my pleasure. From my experience, the wide of the film/lens and the angle of the monitor is an aspect must be considered. Best of luck for you
Does the fold go towards the monitor or away? Hard to tell. Cause I have the sheet and it only seems to work if I hold it like an inch away from the screen
For now I don't fold sheet and keep it straight. What you need to do is to get the correct distance (ex: an inch for you) and you have to measure how wide it goes from one monitor to another. From there, you should know which width you should cut your lens sheet (the gap/space away from the monitor and the width of the sheet is depends on your monitor angles and width of the bezel). Hope my explanation is clear enough.
Hello there. In my country it's called "Lens Sheet Reflector LED TV". Edited: btw, if you had already got a used monitor you can double check if the sheet is in right position. Make sure you have try it in every possible position.
actually I don't know. but in some forum there's a brand that had a different design and not use the exact sheet. but you can always try it if you got a broken LCD.
@@jorge_781 that's great. make sure you cut it right. some you have to cut it horizontally some vertically. make a litte cut, and try it before you cut the big part for the bezel free kit.
I'm sorry but I can't export it to your country. it's gonna need a customs things, a lot of paper that I must do, and so on. sorry that's really hard to do for me.
Does anyone know what the sheet is called here in the US? Maybe something I can grab from amazon? I appreciate the link he put up, but that doesnt work for me.
I looked that up as well, but nobody has a proper size, wondering if I can get a sheet like you did here in the US. Think the biggest size I saw was 10.5in x 8in. I am trying to do it with two 32in monitors.@@om_is_hobby
Tentu harus ditempel. Sy pake double tape. Dan ga ditekuk juga gapapa. Asal sesuaikan sudut monitor nya. Ada video short saya, contoh nempelin ke monitor nya
Bonjour je suis de la France je n'arrive pas a acheter du lien que vous avez mis pouvez vous me donné un lien aliexpresse ou des information complémentaire pour pouvoir en acheter ? merci
@@Alquaidos if you watch the video you can find it, what the "plastic" is. did you watch it bro? I put the link in the description. but only available for my country. hope it helps
You can only call it DIY if all parts are available easily and cheaply. Lens Sheet Reflector LED TV is not easily available. I use - 1. triangle wood stab with one 90° angle (1€) 2. double sided carpet tape (3€) 3. mirror wallpaper self adhesive (15€) Cut out at a line of mirror wallpaper and tape it on the wood, on 2 sides, put double sided tape on one side of the 90° angle of the wood and fix it to the side of the center monitor., so the mirror of the other side is 90° to the center. Move the side monitors slightly back behind the center monitor, so their bevels are not apparent. Now you got a reflection on the wood what is on the screen. Not perfect but so easy and cheap. The smaller the black side lines of the center monitor, the smaller the wood stab. For any size of TV...even 65"...
Thx for sharing! Actually in my country it's so easy to get the lens sheet reflectors, and it's only about 3-5$ (you use it for up to 50" monitor / tv)
I tried several kind of lens sheets fresnel or whatever the name none of them made the black vertical frame disappear and they only come in small sizes. I made a quick video showing the results of the mirror technique on my 43" TV's ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0hQuYzHc6fY.html The width of the mirror is only dependant on the width of the black vertical line of the center monitor, not so dependant on the angle of the side screens and their bezels. Asus Bezel free kid is way to large, way too expensive, and way too small... and it allows only a special angle.
