Obviously, the "alcohol" referred to in this great tutorial is in reference to isopropyl alcohol, a common household first aid antiseptic. And in place of the drill, the hole in the pen cap just has to be made wider to fit the eighth inch adapter. There are plenty of ways to go about doing it without an electric drill. An old adapter could come from a busted pair of headphones or other junk audio cable. Thank you for this tutorial. This is a much better diy than the countless other "tutorials" suggesting a wet piece of cotton swab or some other terribly amateur hack. ♥️☺️♥️

fun fact: That’s why most styluses have Rubber or cotton stuff at its end where you touch the phone bc other wise there will only be scratches :')

I dont understand the hate in the comments....this is by far the best diy stylus i have seen...the others involve rolling a wire on the pen and sticking a cotton and stuff which wrks fine for the first 2 min but is super crappy and uncomfortable...this looks more pro...the viewers should take d idea and improve upon it with their available resources..

Hey everyone, what you can do instead of using alcohol and a drill , just use a tissue paper and roll it. Then apply tape at the bottom part so that it doesn’t open and finally just get it a little wet from the top part without the tape and it works on screens perfectly without damaging it.
