Tip from a hairstylist: if you cut the first underlayer of bangs shorter than you want the resulting bangs, and then cut each additional layer a little bit longer, you will end up with those perfect Bettie Page bangs. (The full, tidy blunt-looking bang that is slightly rounded.)

Ominous Hope There are better ways to make ponytails. You could just make a normal wig and style it. But if you want high ponytails, I can see why you would do this.

aaaah thats too cute!❤ I have a few questions I would like to ask. 1. could you make a wig with a bun? 2. do you know if yarn can be used to flock a doll? 3. could you make dreadlocks with yarn? 4. is it possible to use yarn for a dol beard? its a lot of questions actually. yarn is at the moment my best option for doll hair

I'm working on double/space buns tutorial at the moment so please anticipate!😉I haven't tried flocking with yarn though but i'll try to experiment since want to make undercut kind of wigs too :D i'll put your request on my list for future tutorials. but it could take a while since i had to experiment and stuff. please wait for me!!!

This is late, but try buying hair hanks from a hair shop. It's a lot of hair, so it will be good for quite a few dolls. The reason why is because a lot of that hair is kanekelon, which is what dreading hair is made from. Yarn won't hold the dread shape, so buying the dreading hair from shops is your best option. If you have a hair salon, they might sell you some, but you can also order it online.

your creations are so amazing!!! but as a an artist I believe you always challenge yourself, have you consider carving the eyes of MH 7" and replacing with acrylic eyes? that will completely make a BJD look too your dolls and I think you'll make it marvelously!!! I hope you consider this challenge and make one... more power!!

I would love to try this out since I've seen people doing this on Instagram (most notably Miasdaydream). But it would require a lot of materials and i don't have a 17" doll yet. So i'll put it on my list for now until I have the budget for it 😁
