This DIY is to explain the principles behind electricity generation. This project explains the conversion of energy from one form from another. It converts the simple Kinetic energy from your hand to Electrical energy.
Parts Needed:
4 Compact Disks
Wood blocks
Glue gun
DC motor
LED light
Elastic band

Hello,, does the distance of how long the rubber band is stretched affect how much the motor will spin? I have tried spinning as fast as I can and the motor does not illuminate my LED light. Please help.

You are converting the kinetic energy from the CD wheel to to the motor and the motor does the conversion of kinetic to light energy
