I've done burlap wreaths but these are so much prettier and I love how full these are. It makes it way easier to attach little accessories where they are hidden. Love it!
Thank you so much for your explanation of the poof/curl tutorial! I have always struggled with this technique and now I know that I wrap the middle to tight and don't fluff the poof. Thank you Hard Working Mom!
Oh my goodness don't know which one is my favorite, you make the most beautiful wreaths I've ever seen. And easy to learn cause you explain and show it so well. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful talent and God bless...

Hello, there Patricia and welcome. Have you, try selling on Etsy? I have a course in my Etsy store that has helped many people how to become very successful on Etsy and they all have their stores set up. I know its hard, what you could do is when you sell one, with the profit of that one get more supplies and keep going, that way. It could help and if you just want to sell what you have for now set your profits aside. If you need any more help, feel free to contact me. Thank you, Lori. www.etsy.com/shop/DesignedbyHWM
Hey!!! So thats a very interesting method!!! I'm gonna have to try it when things slow down here. The wreath is beautiful!!! Glad you chose this method to share!!! Thanks Lori!!! 😃
I really liked this! You make easy for us to follow. I too would like to see more stuff done with the 21" deco mesh please. Looking forward to your other videos.
Absolutely gorgeous Lori!!! Your so creative and talented I always look forward to your amazing videos!!! Thank you so much for sharing, your a huge inspiration to me!!! God bless you!!!
OMG 😲 your wreath is awesomeness! I'm new to this side of crafting... you explain your procedure so simply, I have to try it out. You answered my curiosity about those cone shapes with the deco mesh. Awwww I gotta do this, TODAY! Xoxox
i love you Lori, i didnt know i could even get anything like this on my phone, i never have owned a computer and still learning this smart phone ! they should make a smart phone for dummies ! lol
Thank you, Patricia. So, happy you are enjoying your new smartphone. Now, you'll be able to watch, I hope you get to set up your settings so you could get alerts when I do live streaming and I also send out posts. Hope, you'll enjoy today's tutorial. Thank you, Lori.
Here's the thing: if a wreath is made with fall colors, there's no need for signs. I think it takes away from the beauty of the mesh. For a more elegant look, leave the signs off. It's a beautiful mesh. Why hide the beauty of the mesh. Just saying. I do wreath all the time and have been doing this for years. I've learned signs takes away from the wreath itself. Anyone can tell fall, spring, winter, christmas, colors. I can't stress this enough: leave the signs off. You can decorate with other things. I think many don't realize you don't have to use to much mesh. If you've enough fillers, and/or other decorations. I've been thinking about doing a youtube acct., and giving lessons. I think think this wreath if beautiful. Good job!! Thanks for sharing.
Lori made a wreath using the same sign but I made used the ruffle technique i really like watching you you make it look so easy thank you again Lori Marie from Ohio
I'm going to take a day next week and binge watch your wreath making vids because I have bought a bunch of things from DT that I hope to be able to make wreaths with. Will let you know. Also, I will be getting in touch with you about the 2 wreaths we spoke about earlier (Carolina & Alabama). Have a great day! Patty
Thank you, Patty, I have a video coming out next week using all dollar tree items. You can make great wreaths with the dollar tree mesh. I look forward to hearing from you
Love this!! It's so beautiful! Love how great you are at explaining things, you make me believe I can do it too!! I look forward every week to see what you will come up with next!! Thanks so much!!
I tried this technique. Very difficult to keep the middle section of the curl facing down, since deco mesh just doesn’t stay straight. All the fluffing caused too much fraying and it ended up being a huge mess of fraying. Your’s looks beautiful!
Hello, there Margo. I'm so sorry it didn't work out, have you stop making the wreath? If, you have I would like to take a look at it if you don't mind and I could guide from there. You are welcome to send me your pictures at my email address and let me know about it, so I will remember it's from you, Here is my email address and you could send them there. Thank you, hope to hear back from you, Lori. Lori@hardworkingmom.com
WOW!!! Amazing technique Lori. Love it ! I have beem making wreaths since....a long time lol. However, I have yet to try my hand at mesh... I have plenty of supplies, I just need to watch a few more videos... Your videos ! Hands down this is by far one of the prettiest I have come across. Thank you for sharing & for your clear instructions. Happy Autumn !
Hi Lori! I made a Fall wreath using this method and it came out really great. It was my first time making a wreath but following your instructions made it easy for me. I wanted to know if you have a video showing the different methods you use to make your wreaths? I really like the poof curl method but just wanted to know if there is one video with all of the methods you use. Thanks!
Thank You for sharing this deco mesh design I believe I like it better than the regular winding around, there always seems to be one to many tie's or 1 short.;( I am gonna try this tomorrow ! :)
I found/subscribed to your channel last night and have binged watched ALL day today.... Love everything! I must say fall is my favorite season.....so needless to say of everything I have watched...this is my favorite! Thanks for all you do to show us these beautiful crafts! Blessings, Tiffany
Thank you, Tiffany and welcome, I saw your name at last when I had sent you a replay. Thank you, very much I am so glad you have enjoyed the tutorials. I hope you'll continue. Thank you, Lori.
Really want try this method but using an 18" instead of 21" (all got on hand nd it pretty xmas one all foil fabric from walmart) but my wreath form is a dollar tree one thats 4 rings/runs.... do u think just do 2 rolls would work nd make nice full wreath ?? ....like first 2 rings is one roll and last 2 rings is 2nd roll?? Or how would u suggesr on this type wreath form
I don't have any work wreath forms. I do have several regular wreath forms. How many pipe cleaners per section? I can put them on the wire before I get started. Love this method, but would like to try it with the supplies I have on hand.
Hello, there Patricia and welcome. If you have a wire wreath frame that is about 14” you would place 10 at the bottom ring and then 9 on the top inner ring. Don’t forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.
Thank you, Sally. 😆 I keep it clean and when I turned around I have tons of orders and supplies to do and tutorials. Soon, I'll need a bigger room. Good luck with yours. Don't forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise! I am very new to making wreaths, and your videos have helped me so much! My biggest problem is attaching the embellishments. Do you ever hot glue them on?
I have a 21 inch frame, but I want to save about 1/3 of it to do some floral work. Would you suggest the same number of ties since I would ultimately be using ~14 inches of the frame? Your wreath is GORGEOUS btw!
I love your videos!! Keep them coming, just started wreath making and I have learned soooo much from you, nobody else explains it as well as you! I started buying all my supplies and made a few wreaths so far! How long have you been doing this? How long did your supply take to build? I'm afraid I'm not buying enough etc. I have run out a few times while in the making,, is there a rule of thumb you go by to know how much to buy per wreath?
Thank you Tristin i have been making wreaths for about 13-14 years. It took me about 2 years to build up my supply but i did it slowly so my hubby would not kill me lol. I would try to keep wreath cost under $30 per wreath. I have to run out and get supplies too so don't worry about that. Just buy as you go and just buy one extra thing and you will get a supply going.
If I keep my cost around 30$ what should I sell them for? I see people selling big full wreaths with accents for 25$ how!? They can't be making anything! lol
Some charge 250% more than the cost and they have a customer base who will buy that. It takes a really long time to build that up. When you first start it is wise to just double the cost of the supplies that is why you want to keep the cost low. Once you have a customer base you can add more and charge more. You just go up incrementally.
