I liked to make my own stickers and tuck them into pockets so the person who buys the book can put them wherever they want. And, of course, various types of writing paper. :) I LOVE this idea, BTW, Pam! 🥰
So every time I use the liquid pearls (which I learned about from you) I hear your voice warning me not to flatten them or stick my finger in them. It never fails to make me smile to myself as I find your YT videos a wonderful, positive respite for those days that aren't quite so wonderful as others. :)
Holy Crap! I've been watching you for WEEKS. Today I was confident I was ready to start my junk journal. Started with easy file folder flip out! GEEZ,...I spent hours just staring at it. I spent half the day and got one pocket done. Decided I NEEDED to find THIS VIDEO for moral support! I'll try again tomorrow. I thought I was smarter than this!
I just started watching this past month. Every time, I go "I have that!' every time I watch. I have those bingo cards! I need to use that too! I love paper and paper journaling, but was always frozen in action because I did not have anything to journal in words. Then I saw your posts. Wow. I can make journals with abandon now! Love Pockets, Love tickets, tags, stickers and pins. Thank you Pam!
I'm new to junk journaling and I love all your video's. They have a lot of information and ideas. Your so relaxed and make someone feel right at home watching you. So far I have done my cover and am now working on pages and embellishments. Then I'll probably add to that. Watching your videos has given me more Ideas and gets the creativity going.
Good Monday Morning, Pam and Holly Bird! File folders woohoo! Why do we love them? No clue but I love them so much that I have bought them over the years for absolutely no reason lol. Wonderful ideas here to justify my stash. Going to craft with you! 🤓😎🤓
Just watched this yesterday, my 6'2" grandsons' 15th birthday. And received a stash of franked postage stamps enclosed in a cut-down file folder! I'm on it!!! Yeah!
HA HA HA HA HA!!! "Like an old person, got stuck but it bounces back in place!" I resemble that remark! Love your morning adventures, Ms. Pam from the Paper Outpost....great project, thank you!
Pam, love that you show us what you are going to make before you make it! Sounds simple, but not obvious for some instructors. You're a natural teacher. Useful project, too! TFS! From Cheryl in AZ
This is really cool. My Mom retired from Walgreens! The price tag brought back some memories of helping her straighten and clean shelves after closing time.
LOL, I was a shy kid, the one hiding in the back :) I started my youtube channel June of 2019 but I have been crafting of some sort for years and years :)
Oh, wonderful....I am going to use this idea and do birthday cards instead, with pockets with quotes inside for my work (aka school) friends....and I have everything I need (well, I am new to the inks so I did find an old stamp pad that I used and liked, so I guess an Amazon purchase is going to be made soon) and am looking forward to using my stash and making several of them(there's 3 BDs right in a row!)on this cold and snowy (yes! snowy) day. I will also being putting this on the list for crafting in the summer with my twin nieces who are 15 and love to create. Thanks for sharing! so excited....lol.
Great Monday Morning Video Pam! You're Soo Creative!! I Love these File Flips! Thank you for sharing this Great idea! I personally Love to add bulk in my jounals~this offers the Perfect amount~something thicker than thin papers but not as bulky as a kitchen sink! I have a stack of used manilla folders from my office (I prefer the Absence of Color, lol) I raided Rick's office closet of Colorful file folders~ red, green, purple & yellow with intentions of using in my journals. They just sat there saying "Now What? You moved us from the office to your studio, and here we sit?! Come on Lady, Give Us New Life!" Thanks to You Pam, this will be this evenings late night create session! Yaaa! 🙂
Hi MEMAWMOORE! Welcome to the family! I am so excited for you on your new journey into junk journals! It's a very friendly community! Come on down the rabbit hole with the rest of us and have some fun! :)Thanks for watching! :) Pam :) !!
You should rename this video. I suggest "The very, absolutely, best beginner video to start papercrafting." I have spend too much time trying to find a simple project to start with and all of them expect you have way too much equipment or that you understand the terms they are using. But this is the best beginning project and I can keep adding bits and pieces as I make other things. Love this video. Thank you,
I have been blowing thru my file folders making storage for all of my hundreds of old and vintage sewing patterns but I bet I could still do this by hinging some pieces together with coffee dyed paper or even scraps of scrapbook paper and coordinate it with my pockets. I’ll have to try that with the cook book journal I’m making now. I’m also going to be working on my Vegas journal which may be a lap book style journal (not sure yet but I was watching Nik the book smith and she had an awesome lap book tutorial) but I can see this being a fun thing to make for all of my fun stuff I’ve collected over the many, many tripe we’ve made.
hey guys join us in the Paper Outpost Facebook Group. We love meeting new JJ enthusiasts to share ideas and inspire fun with paper. Thank you Pam for the ideas you so gladly share. See everyone on FB to have fun. 💛🌹
GDAY CAMILLE, I AGREE 100%, PAM JUST GOT MY WHEELS GOING, I HAVE ALOT OF THESE FOLDERS AND THEY ARE ALREADY AGED. TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS YOU. BECKY B FROM ARKANSAS
We went digital in the 80's, so we haven't had file folders here in Denmark, for years! I wouldn't even know where to begin to find any! 🤣 but I adore this idea, w. so many details, in a small space! Gonna need to source something else....breakfast boxes might have the same thickness and flexibility? 🤔 Thanks, Pam - love from Denmark 🌸💕
I’ve never made one of these , it was so easy & fun to make & you really did a great job in this video on showing so many different techniques & colors.....thanks for your special time....
Love this - excellent idea, Pam! You are for sure a lovely breath of fresh air! Very busy here, have had the collie puppy in the house for 1½ week, she's FULL of energy!! Hope you're having a great week! /Ditte
Love it and with file folders to they are so easy to work with. Lmao when you said hosiery, they memories were flowing. I used to work in an office and had to wear hosiery & heels, glad those days are over. Thanks for another fun video, hope your having a good week.
