In this video I show you a trick to turn one tarp into a tent with a floor and walls! If you have a square tarp, it works too, you just wont have the space outside the tent to put your shoes. Enjoy!

I personally wouldn't use this setup - as others have said, that's gonna flood in rain, but tarp tents are really useful for keeping your pack light because there's no bones to haul around - just a tarp and pegs. Because they're usually just a square or rectangle of material, you can fold them or roll them up nice and small, and you can reshape your layout to better for your needs in the situation.
