I admire this. Sometimes, when you just blow out the original flower before adding color, they are just beautiful. In just the black and gold. Lovely.

Funny you mention patience Manon! I actually don't have any, except when it comes to art. I guess maybe that's why I enjoy embellishing a pour and/or making skins because I can just get lost in the moment and the entire world just disappears around me for a few hours. When I just did pours, I would get impatient mixing paint and checking consistency because after all that work it would be over so quickly .... especially where I started which was the dutch pour. But now I'm starting to even appreciate the mixing part because I know I will get hours of enjoyment creating the piece. Long story huh? Bet you weren't expecting that 😘

@TiffanyRemijn
@TiffanyRemijn Год назад
They are slightly thicker than a dutch pour. Here's a quick video clip for you that will show you. Hope that helps. ru-vid.com75x6yqaGB2o?feature=share

Hallo once again. I tried this but my skins were not as rubbery as yours. What do you mix your paints with?
@TiffanyRemijn
@TiffanyRemijn Год назад
For the base and swipe over those are tube paints mixed with a pouring medium I buy here in the Netherlands from a company called Van Bleiswijk. And the top bloom or center of the flower are Colourarte products called Prizm Pour and they are mixed with the stuff that come with them, Poly Pour and Vivid Enamel. Not sure what your using as a pouring medium? I know that glue and water would dry more stiff then a commercially made pouring medium specific for acylic paint pouring. If you have any commercially made pouring medium ex Liquitex, pour out a puddle on a plastic surface or silicone mat and let it dry alongside your glue and water mix and once dry peel them both up and see if one is more rubbery. When I did that, my pouring medium is much more pliable compared to glue and water. Does that help at all?
@henriettelombard8330
@henriettelombard8330 Год назад
@@TiffanyRemijn I use glue and water. I shall try and order from overseas. That might be a problem because the overseas companies do not want to send to South Africa. thank you for the reply. Keep up the wonderful work.
@TiffanyRemijn
@TiffanyRemijn Год назад
I would try just putting your glue water mixture on a piece of plastic and see how it dries. Acrylic paint itself should dry a little rubbery on its own without any pouring medium. Is your paint to thick, if you want and if your on instragram you can send me a dm with a picture and might be able to help you. My instagram handle is in the description box 🙂
