Hey guys, here’s a tutorial on how I made my Franken-V guitar. I got the inspiration from the new king V that Jackson made for Scott Ian but iv been wanting to do this to a Jackson V for a while now. Wow...you did an awesome job on this instrument...I also restore, upgrade, and paint electric guitars, but I have never learned how to wind pickups...but wow, I am truly impressed. Excellent job! It looks and sounds great!

Holy Cow! Bro... this guitar is KILLER! Amazing job you did on this guitar. I've done a couple Frankenstrats, and it's a lot of fun. Mine came out OK. I dig em. But this is just fantastic! You've inspired me. I want to do a V now. I think I might look at some kits. Rock on! Subbing.

That was cool dude. I've got an RR3. Had it for 15 years, time for a change lol. Im like you in the fact i wanna do a "to spec" version eventually. This is going to be sort of a practice run. Im glad you kept the logo on the head stock too, I was wondering how that would look.

I started mine sunday. spent hrs trying to strip all the paint with 220 grit, it was pointless. SO i grabbed some 80 grit that made quick work of it. My budget was $50 i already had the crap guitar. The electronics and floyd was almost $60 from Ali, then at least $30 on paint and sandpaper and tape. My budgets way over! But I think its going to be worth it in the end. Maybe by Halloween? Lol

No i didnt, this is Jackson’s a shuriken model they made a limited run a few years back and the inlays are like that. It’s pretty cool especially because I got to paint it EVH style now lol
