The pattern is for a circle skirt that is a different type of skirt In one of my videos I explain that as well It all depends on what you want

For someone whose waist is 45, how many yards of fabric will be okay

You would multiply 45 by 3 and then divide by 36 to determine that

For waist below 30", multiply by 3. Or you can just use 3 yards of fabric.
