If you follow the written measurements in the video a 3/4" PVC cap will not fit through a 1" hole in the 2" PVC cap. The 3/4" PVC pipe will fit through the 1" hole so I'm fine with it; I don't want any slop around the 3/4" PVC pipe at the 2" PVC cap. At 4:44 the 3/4" CPVC pipe is shorter than the 28" length mentioned in the written measurements so you'll have excess length at the top as seen in the black pump. If you use cement and the piston ever fails, you'll be able to hack off the piston and put a new one on. If you don't use cement and attach everything with screws, you'll be able to unscrew and replace the piston.

Install a Handle just below the top cap!... Will make pumping So Much Easier!..... 🦐

@@SaltSquatch- , I have installed a plastic pipe, level end cap, facing down, below my washer system!, in my pumps! Have to make a hole in side, just below the end, where it fits on, to get split pin thru! This adds more suction power!.... 🦐

Our plastic, pvc, bait suction pumps in SA 🇿🇦, and the Australian Alvey pumps are much more advanced with the in built handle! 🦐
