the cake looks really good and i was wondering could i turn the batter into cupcakes instead? (i'd be the only one eating them so id freeze most or give them to friends or something but i cant finish a whole cake myself)
@Kawiisweetworld to keep the sprinkles present my mom taught me that if you mix some of the dry with and then add the rest in the batter they shouldn’t disappear
I would guess the sprinkles disappeared since the chocolate cake batter is too dark for the colors to show through. That's why Funfetti cakes are usually vanilla or lighter cakes.
I figured out how the sprinkles have gone missing... there was a lot on the top and they could’ve risen to the top and got leveled off 😕.. Love your videos btw and congrats getting into Stanford ❤️

I think rather than adding the oreos to the top of the cake, I'd get some store bought white fondant and roll out some 1-2cm logs in different colours (with gel colouring) and let them dry. Then slice them into giant sprinkles :)
