I would recommend starting with making 1.0 - 1.3 style levels and then working your way into more complicated territory

Don't always use blending though it can mess colours up sometimes so use it wisely

Remember you dont always need to use blending, non blending glow can be good for making realistic block designs, like dirt grass stone ect.

One thing I’d recommend is to start making levels in the style of 1.9 or earlier. It helps you get to grip with structuring and design before trying anything fancy

Making a good modern level is hard actually, but it’s easier to make one that looks passable than it is for other styles.

Making modern levels requires a lot less effort than glowy levels, but moving triggers are a big thing for modern levels too!

modern style is not based on Block design lol.... more on color harmony, visuals ,coherent atmosphere and paralax mouvements.... meanwhile glow levels are kinda copy cat and ....."Pulse"
