I love the different colors of greenery, the grouping and different coloured flowers. Also those wee orchids where the card could lay and the design of the bear grass. Please come to NZ and be a tutor. Thank you.
Thank you, John, for that lovely tutorial. I really love the peach-caramel-cream combination with all the interesting greens. Very warm and inviting. Bravo!
I made this type of arrangement on my floristry course and really struggled. You are a good teacher John and have really helped me, I will definetly try this again. Thank you for this video.
HI John! Love how soft this is but with a pop of the Gerbras , The use of so many greens really give so much interest. The Idea of the Orchids is wonderful. Draws your eyes right to the spot. I really love this. Thank You and Gods Speed. From OHIO
I'm dreaming of my flowers to come this spring. I already have the usual Daffodils up already about 8 inches with nice buds on them. They are really gonna freeze the next two days. High of 25 lows in the teens. You could say I'm suffering a little . I just keep thinking another day gone and closer to spring. You have a fantastic day John. Rebekah From OHIO
Gorgeous! I do love the more modern approach. Love the choice of flowers and really like the addition of bear grass!! Brilliant John. Definitely going to have a go at that. 😊
A fantastic tutorial again, John. Beautiful wreath. I will be making a wreath with fake flowers to set atop my father-in-law’s grave soon, following the pedestal fresh flower arrangements my daughter & I made for the funeral. We could use Zanthorrea grass tree foliage (as you have used Bear grass) which I have growing in my Aussie Bush garden. Playing with some native flower ideas.
Pippy’s Mama I like your idea - that makes sense to use artificial in a hot place, so it will last. You must have so much amazing material there to use for designs- I’m jealous! 🙋🏼♂️
Goodness me John I was late watching your video, like 15 hours late but oh boy it was worth the wait. Stunning wreath and the colours are absolutely beautiful. 💕
I love how cost effective your foliage base is. Thank you, John and Janos for your edifying videos, always something to learn. Can I make a request for: A. A Norway/Netherland style wreath and cross with minimum flowers and twigs. B. A wreath with one and two focal points (crowns). Thank you in advance! Xx
Hi John, Love your videos! Would it be possible to put in a request for a tutorial for creating a wreath for your front door using lovely foliage and flowers? Thanks :)
@@FlowerJoos Brilliant news, thanks so much! :) Personally, I'd love to see a tutorial for just a happy seasonal wreath with flowers & foliage - something to add a splash of colour to my front door especially during these strange times :)
Stunning. Where can i buy the wire to twist? Can you confirm how i would look after tulips if i bought them the day before i do my arrangement? Ive been advised to pierce them?!!!! I am doing an arrangement next week the theme at the colour group is TWIST, TURN, TULIPS... any ideas would be appreciated? Where can i get twisty willow? Gemma x
Beautiful colours and textures and I'm a sucker for a grouped wreath. I love those Gerbera John but am unfamiliar with them, can you please let us know the name? Many Thanks and once again, beautiful wreath. 🌷❤
Clare Perkins thank you so much 😊 I am really sorry, I don’t know the name of this one, it was just picked up at the wholesalers and we loved the petal shape. It’s also a good colour. Thank you for watching and commenting 🙋🏼♂️🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Great instructional video. Please could you hold up the wreath for a bit longer or do a close up or take photos and edit them onto the end of your video as it's a shame not to see the final display in all its glory.
Gemma Dunn this came from our wholesaler along with the flowers. There are two easy to get grasses - steelgrass which is tall and straight and beargrass which is shorter and variable widths - though thinner than steelgrass, and this is much more flexible.
