little tip . if you cant get the tubing on to the pump , boil some water and pour into a mug and place the tubing in the hot water for a few mins , it will become softer and easy to slide onto the pump , once cooled , it will become tight again and be a tight fit

I stumbled across your bucket water fountain which is fantastic! I'm in East Texas, so we gets pretty hot and pretty dry in the summer. The other water fountain that I had, had to be filled twice a day this one I think will last all week. You are the greatest Robbie! Such a fantastic attitude, your character is wonderful, how refreshing is that! And such a creative lady, omigosh! that's beautiful! You have inspired me. Thank you, oh, and I have turn my older brother on to your bucket water Fountain who lives in Bakersfield California, too. "HOT", I'd say. He has birds that he feeds in his backyard, so he is very excited to get his Fountain going.

Tell people the vinyl tubing will be in plumbing dept. of big box stores. I kept looking in garden dept. but finally asked somebody. (I’m too independent for my own good.). lol Finally got it at Home Depot for less than $5.00 for 10 feet. Your videos have taught me so much getting started making bird fountains. Thank you. ❤❤

I raised the plate with paper clips attached to the side of the bucket and you can really hear the water moving. Attracts birds also

Lol, a camo colored bucket fountain, I love it. The artists in us demand satisfaction when painting and creating great ideas. I'm designing one now using this very design, thank you. Even your bathroom was fabulous and very creative, with options to change any color as you wish. I'm using small knickknacks that I keep packed away with concrete used to form small bases and use the weight to hold them in place, they will be bird perches when finished. Robbie I just love what you do! I'm going to speak at my garden club this month about Hummingbirds. Of course, I learned everything about hummingbirds from you. Now my garden friends are going to know all about you and how to bring hummers to their gardens. I got the harder tubing-only kind I could find and put holes in the tube with my S I to make the spray perfect! You are such a blessing! Went to the pet store for seeds, too-thank you. I just could not get peace aboput gettinfg seed from the big bird seed companies. Now I am feeding more birds. Also-I made a fruit fly feeder from small buckets. I'd payed $25 for a feeder you put bananas into. The birds snack on the bugs from the banana.

Great Idea, Thank You For Your Time Putting This Video Together This was just the thing I was looking for. I used a Craftsman Square Stackable Bucket, which has a deeper top. I used a solar pump with a dry run protection, which turns off the pump if it does not sense water. This took all of 10 minutes to make, drill the holes, cut out the knotch and paint. I used only 8 small holes, and would advise anyone making this to make less holes, set up and watch it work. If it overflows, drill some more holes 2 at a time.

I was so excited by this idea, I got the stuff for it and less than a week after first watching this I now have one set up in my flower garden! We have a lot of big shade trees so it only runs from about 40 minutes after sunrise until about 3pm, but I've got another couple solar water pumps on the way so I can add a couple more for the other side of the yard :) Side note, Robbie, I love listening to you - it is just like one of the cousins at a Jennings family reunion here in Missouri :)

this is fabulous- just what I am looking for. We were in a rush to plan out our small patio backyard when we moved in (thanks HOA), so I wasn't thinking when I put my small corner garden away from the only electrical outlet.... When you said you don't want bees...think again. Recently toured an awesome garden that had pebbles in a tray with a bunch of fuzzy bee bums in there drinking. Since you can afford so many birdbaths what about a little pebble pool for the bees? During droughts they can get thirsty too. It was a surprise to see somebody caring like that for the pollinators bees. Since then I replicated her idea. If you made a little something for the bees they would be less investigative of your bird baths and less likely to drown in them too
