I just wanted to THANK YOU SO MUCH for this! I'm setting up a membership now and just didn't want to commit to a platform for hundreds of dollars before I know what the membership will look like. This was perfect and on-time!
Adam, Thanks so much for this, I was paying a premium price for a membership plugin that required programming skills beyond the average front-end developer. I like the way you've utilised WordPress core resources and given us an education in basic automation at the same time - well done!
How awesome is this. I was just thinking of how I wanted to add a membership but needed to learn the best way of doing it. Thanks Adam. You are amazing! 🙂
Amazing I am exactly the same way always looking for the free option, bu this tim eyou just saved a ton of time in research and try and error, cant thank you enough mate.
Nitin Narvekar I purchased the Automator plugin through the link Adam provided, and then I got an email from him. Automatically enrolled me in his class.
Great tutorial. I was not really interested in building a membership site and only watched the video to see how one would do it. The tools you use however seem very versatile and I certainly learned something useful today. Thanks :-)
Man, you are completely AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to be able to like this video at least 100 times!! You really deserve it! Thank you so much!!!!!!
This guy, Adam, stole my look, he stole my ability to make complicated subjects simple and understandable, and he stole my desire to make things as free as humanly possible for any newbie who wants to learn my modality. OMG, no wonder I like him so much! (ps: he probably didn't steal these traits from me, since for rare individuals these are universal truths and he doesn't know who I am.) But I like him anyway.
@@alaididnalid7660 Thank you for your comment. I think the word you are looking for is paradoxical, seemingly absurd or self-contradictory. And you are right, totally.
@@DrJohnPollard I was under the impression you were kidding actually. I feel that idea cannot be stolen as it's a very old concept that applies to many complex topics. So I think that it's not about having the idea. Rather, it's about executing it correctly by presenting complex topics in an accessible, attractive & structured way. I for one would not be able to do that for instance while I find the concept quite obvious.
@@alaididnalid7660 I was "kidding" in a way. But for me I was more observing Adam's unusual talent and praising it in a backhanded manner, just because it came through that way in my brain.
This is great. I enjoyed every bit of the video. I just need the next step that only shows certain products (subscriptions in our case) to on those members. Cheers!
Kadence (Pro?) has Page Protection options at the page level - Choices are: * Inherit from parent *Anyone at any time * Any logged in user * [all the levels use set in the User area] The options also include, among other things: * Only/Not these Tags * When forbidden, redirect to:" THIS IS SO TIGHT!!!!
Fantastic! Thanks Adam. In regards to setting up recurring membership payments with this, is that something that can only be achieved by configuring within your Stripe account or is there another solution you can recommend free or premium? Thanks
Great video! I just stumbled upon your channel through this video. I love how you speak. You are so kind and encouraging and easy to follow. Thank you for this! Subscribed ☺️
Could you please make a video on how to handle recurring payments, expirations, cancellations and stuff like this? I love this clean and simple way for putting a membership site up but how can I automate this other stuff?
Absolutely there is a need for those things. For instance how do you allow a user to change their plan whether downgrade or upgrade? Part 2 will hopefully handle this.
Very, very cool! I already have lifetime membership functions so I may not use this method, but I learned a lot from your video. For being a beginner on WP as you say, you sure know a lot! ;-)
This is GOLDEN. Thanks so much for explaining it so so well. I managed to install a whole Automated Membership Website thanks to your detailed instructions. I'm really forever grateful for your input
I. Frickin. Love. This. I have an old license to a premium membership plugin. Somewhere. Still downloadable? I dunno. Needed a working method. Soon. This will do juuust fine. Thanks bigly.
@@WPCrafter It works both ways,; it's getting hard to keep up with all of the new information coming out, as well. Everything is going faster and more efficient. Thanks again... have a nice weekend!
Thank you for the video and information. will you suggest other software beside "code snippets"? I follow the video to add code and I got lock out of my site. the page show "critical error"! the website hosting support help me get in my WP. then I plug in "code snippets" and I got lock out again. maybe I need to find other software . what will you suggest? thank you again for provide the precious information !
I'm guessing if you had a "membership" to restrict some kind of content on your website, you'd want recurring payments, right? Wonder how this (with expiration of their credentials if they didn't renew) could be accomplished as easy as everything in here...
Ohh my friend, You are God Sent “Adam” This tutorial is one of the top notch you have done in very longtime now I can see what all this silence and being out of sight for while.. 😆 You are awesome 👏 thank you NP: When will I be able to buy your upcoming book ?
Good stuff. The only thing that I didn't see (and it may be outside of the "free" scope) but a way to make the payments recurring, for a monthly or quarterly or yearly membership. Any suggestions on that?
Hey buddy, yea that one is too hard if keeping it all free. Now most people have something paid they can throw into the mix to accomplish that. Maybe a paid form plugin where they would have more flexibility. The least expensive way would be to use Woo then buy a subscription plugin on CodeCanyon for $50.
Hi Adam - another very helpful video - can you comment a bit more on purchasing options which you skipped over quite quickly - I tried Fluent Forms (which I love) but they don't currently support Subscriptions - Woocommerce Subscriptions I consider to be an expensive option - do you know of any other plugins/methods that allow the creation of Subscriptions for my low-cost Membership stack ??? Many thanks
Hello Adam absolutely love your tutorials! What template in Elementor you'd recommend to create a page that contains this membership style functions? thanks!
Brilliant Video, Adam, please advice me. could I use fluentform plus fluentcrm as a configurator on my membership website to operate a pay per leads agency for lawyers and distribute leads for various lawyers depending on their serivces ie. Defence lawyer or Divorce lawyer. Leads distribution system. Thanks
Good job collecting plugins together and getting them to communicate with each other in such a way that it offers a free solution, but we have one problem here, Adam. We cannot create memberships through these methods unless they are lifetime memberships. Through this method, members only pay once, after which they remain a member. I have not been able to find a way to put the user back on a subscriber after, for example, a month if they do not renew their membership. Do you have a solution for that?
