This video has been a lifesaver. If you come from a low-income country, especially where you have foreign exchange limitations, every dollar counts. Adam ... great video. I am a Name Hero reseller and while Name Hero out of the box does amazingly well in all those speed tests you refer to ... this video gives me the information on EXACTLY how to tweak my settings to supercharge the performance of my clients' websites. I've been using Name Hero for a couple of years and have been completely satisfied with the performance and service. Previously I was with A2 and they also had great service. At the time I switched to Name Hero, upgrading from the basic hosting plan to LiteSpeed at A2 was considerably more expressive than making the switch. Maybe pricing at A2 is different now. Glad you made this video. I've been telling anyone who asks about hosting to check out Name Hero but they all pass because they have never heard of it. Looking forward to your LiteSpeed tutorial.

LOL, I subscribed to WP Rocket (after years of pushing it) about a month ago (based on many experts opinion, including yours at the time)... Since I have the money now and may not have it later, after testing it and being satisfied, I upgraded to a 4 years + 1 free year... and yesterday, since they release 3.6, they made a 50% discount on 2 years (plus 6 months free)... Soo, now I'm okay until early November 2028...! Ready for their Black Friday deal of that year, haha... So, might have tested your settings first and not buy it at the time, but honestly, I'm pretty happy with it... Still activated your PHP settings suggestions to one site... Everything in GTMetrix stayed the same, except for the load time... but you always say yourself it can vary (though it was less than 50% of the previous test)... I have created and try a BunnyCDN account when you first talked about it... For now, I still have difficulties with CDNs, so have removed it... I guess it's good for a "static" site that doesn't change, but I've never seen a big improvement and sometimes you have "problems" when updating a site... So, maybe I'll give it another try at some point for specific sites... Thanks for the video!

I bought a shared hosting from a small startup indian company for 7$ a year their servers are with contabo and they have lite speed servers then I used bunny cdn. My website is loading in1.2 seconds and website size is 1.1mb in india and it loads in less than half seconds in Europe, although it can handle only 100 peope at a time, but I dont have that much traffic so it's win win for me.Thanks Adam your video are always enlighting and I learnt to make website from you. This is great for static WordPress websites that can be served primarily via cache. I wouldn't suggest moving an e-commerce site to a $6/mo hosting platform. Also, LOVE what you do!

Good video and it's a shame that not more hosts offer Litespeed, I prefer it over Nginx with Apache. Though I think you're making it to simple, the performance of the server hardware and the routing are just 2 very important key factors to lookout for. Also the comparison tools like GTMetrix or Pingdom are actually very useful, as long as you know how to read and value the results.

Great video Adam! Love your passion when you discover something you feel strongly about. After a few years with Siteground I’ve started to move my sites over to Cloudways. Support is very important to me and unfortunately SG’s quality in this area tanked this year, sadly. Question, as I’m still in learning mode for CW, is this plugin all I need for caching even with Cloudways? (Yes, I am also using a CDN)

I love Cloudways and will have a special video out to help you with them. The are a great company to host with. They have their own caching plugin, but you would also want to turn on Redis and use either their CDN or BunnyCDN which is a lot cheaper. I'll show you in the video.

Adam, nice job !! Hostinger also offers litespeed and if you install wp it autoinstalls the mentioned LiteSpeed Cache and Free Cloudflare, Now FYI namecheap is claiming cloudflare as something special while just giving the free cloudflare version which is actually good but they shouldn't advertise / act as if they offer the Pro version. Now I am curious and gonna try bunny CDN and see how that works. Thank you

Great info... lots to absorb. I am currently using a VPS for reseller hosting through InMotion. They do not normally install light speed but they said I can install it myself. Is this something I should consider, or do they have to have their network configured to support it properly? Also, can this be used with NGINX? That is another thing I was considering switching to?

Great video. The truth behind the "speed" of those hosting companies. Can you share more thought on Redis vs Fastcgi cache? I just switched to a server on Nginx which is way faster than Apache stack I was on. I did think about using the LS configuration, but the popularity and the development are still low relatively, so may switch to it a few years later.

Do you know why the connection test saltus would be displaying "failed" under the "Object Cache" sections. Is that something to be concerned about? In particular, how would you compare this to a low price 1GB VULTR 11 dollar monthly fee and also to a higher price ASW say >50 dollar subscription at Cloudways? Great video Adam! :) It should be noted however that to get Litespeed on A2 you need one of the Turbo plans. Startup and Drive do not have it available. That said, I just this week switched to the A2 Drive plan (may upgrade, but for now Drive is fine for my sites) and used their free migration. Awesome service! Six sites in less than 24 hours, including all email accounts! :) Did I mention that was free? :) Cheers! Lyle

Hi Adam, I recently created my website through wordpress and I just wanted to know if embedding someone's youtube video to my website is allowed? Since RU-vid itself guide's on how to do that, I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue. Still wanted to be sure before I did anything. Why use Cloudflare if you are using Bunny? My site has lots of speed just using the setup that Wpcrafter shows plus bunny.

Should we turn on server side caching for woocommerce site? Since processing orders required fresh data. I hope server caching does not effect the user experience. I am using Hostgator cloud and it has "Manage Website Caching" option. It was turned off but I have turned it on now to experiment.

Thank you Adam. I like your content alot. Infact because of you channel I was able to start an online course website with lifterlms. I have a question, every time I try to use any caching on my website it causes updates not to be reflected on the user end. For example, if you activate a course for a student it will not appear on the student's dashboard untill the student clears his or her cache. That made me not to use it at all and end up paying for more for resources. Any idea please. Thank you

Go Adam go. Love your enthusiasm. Talk about getting and holding people's attention. Ok, this left me mildly confused between lite-speed. Is that just something to enable or is it unique to hosts providing that? like, I can click the php settings and that enables litespeed?

Thanks Grant. I think part of it was editing and preparation :-). Oh and props. Now to answer your question, its the tech on the server, so the host specifically need to be using a Litespeed server.

So I’m running woocommerce ones a day adding new product if I activated cdn then my old data will be in cdn server ? Do I need t deactivated when I’m adding product ?
