Hey I bought both Elements of Soul and Elements of R&B on the Black Friday installment plan a couple months ago. I want to pay off early and get the download links but Shoppay directs me to your Sonix website and that does not show an option to pay off early. It just says "paid". Sorry for posting this here but there was no Help section on the website.
Btw yall, plz don't try to connect with people on beatstars THROUGH beatstars dm, that visual was for the edit (editor here) some things are just for visual appeal. These tips are amazing, utilize them in different ways (instagram, twitter,) and don't take every visual literal lol. Let's get it in 2024 yall!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I just never know when im good enough to start talking like i know my stuff ive been at it for years.. but i guess its a constant journey theres always more to learn. I hope ill get the courage to release it one day
if you use FL Studio, you can save the file as loop package and it should save all of the files including audio files. And in terms of contacting other producers I would say to start off small and look around locally, that definitely helped me considering I'd never thought I would get to link up with another artist or producer.
I bought the producer playbook, it holds great advice and an awesome way to stay organized!! It would dope if you covered more of how to properly post music on these certain websites and more in depth of advertising it. Love watching your videos bro you have helped me a ton!!!!!
how to "properly post" and advertising metas always change. so its up to you to keep up with whats going viral and how other people are promoting their shit. LemonFuzz
In this sense you are a manufacturer. You provide parts for the producer. The producers(music/beat maker) is the client. The producer has artists/public as their client. Producer seems to be where the big money would be other wise this manufacturing gig wouldn’t exist.
Im too lazy to be doing all that 😂, but im am more focused on building my own brand and finding a niche on RU-vid feel like hitting 10k subs on RU-vid or any other social media is the sweet spot thats hard to do
I've had one channel with 335k subs, one with 3k, and now this one with 5. It doesn't work like that. RU-vid promotes who it wants based on comment history, who you sub to, and some other algo related stuff. If you say the wrong thing you are immediately put on a list and your content is pushed to no no land. RU-vid owes me so much money and there is nothing i can do about it
Real good video! I had a few questions though, so if I am hypothetically making a loop kit out of the beats that are already on my beat store, will those loops be royalty-free? (I checked out Sonix and it mentioned that it's royalty-free for beat selling but has to be cleared for placements) could you elaborate on how that works and what happens if someone fails to clear a sample? Much thanks.
I’m guessing royalty free means you can sell those beats on your page but if it gets a major placement then you need to involve him on the deal so can make eat from it too
@@saigonproducer ah that makes sense, thanks man! I actually come from the orchestra world, I write film scores and mostly the deals are upfront + percents because all films essentially are signed to a media house along with the music that will be created. So this is a bit new to me, Im still learning haha thankyou!
Definitely not at the level of being Amazing! for making loops so I'm just working on that step with what time I have ig. It's a grind but so worth it.
When you dm other producers from Instagram or BeatStars, do you send them the mp3 with your producer tag on it? How do I know they won’t just steal it?
Also how do you know the sales numbers are legit if you send samples to other producers to sell? For example what if i send a sample to a guy who sells it in a pack and we agree 50/50 What if he sells it 10 times and just tells you he sold it once? Any way to get legit numbers so we dont get screwed or?
the way I personally do it is MP3 with the stems at the end of the sample with 4 bars in between each sound. Ive asked the producers on my email list if they ever want the wav files and they say no lol... I guess the convenience of an MP3 is just better and the producers don't care about it having to be a WAV
A lot of information for noobs, and how does someone make sure their work is not ripped off when they are spamming it up and down the place? I have seen these two famous DJs who collab very well, and one was stealing from the other, merely because they were working in the stealers studio. Imagine sending your music to him?
