Got the fabric today, found some fleece kits- for the knotted no sew throws- marked way down. Cheaper than buying the fleece by the yard. Got three chew masters that kill toys. Thank you for sharing this.
You are welcome! Toffee just got attacked by a Pit-bull, he needs help. Please watch my recently video. Thanks for stopping by. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oHeiYgw2cuk.html
I'm tempted to make one from thick canvas. Every tug toy he's cut through. The extreme Kong bone, the black one not even 20 seconds before there were two pieces. The pineapple lasted him 30 seconds before he took the top off. The only thing that really lasts with him are antlers and a very very old dried out coconuts.
Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that! My dog has everything Kong Black, they last him forever because once the treat is out, he is no longer interested in it! As for the canvas, not sure if you had canvas toys that survived your dog, if so, I think it would work. But remember to tie them really tight, that's what makes it strong. Let us know if it's successful!
Hi! Just found your page. You mentioned “distended fleece”. Is that a specific pile or type? Is it thicker? Or is that another name for French terry fleece? I’m new to this and want to make sure I use the right fabric. I’m also considering using denim from old jeans. Do you think that would be good?
Hi Mikki, I use anti pill plush fleece, I often buy it from JoAnn. Denim sounds like a good idea, but I will make sure there is no thread come out once your dog started to chew on it. No good if he swallows threads.
yep I’ve got a Chihuahua & she either rips her soft toys to bits or bites her really hard rubber toys into tiny bits 😳 she has even shredded the rope toys like this one 😩 just dunno what toy to get her that she can’t destroy in anyway 😳
@@INESsChest I actually had a thicker fleece but it was the length of the toy not the thickness 🤷♀I guess I should have been more specific. Honestly, did not expect a reply :)
Before I saw this video I made some of my own they are very very dangerous for dogs we started seeing chunks of the material and my dogs poop and decided that how much was still stuck on her stomach and we stopped giving them to her
I am so sorry to hear that! It doesn't happen to my dog. I usually throw it away and give him a new one as soon as I see signs of tears. They do break, but usually last 6 months. He plays and tugs more than he chews on it. But thanks for letting me know, extra attention is never too much.
