I have not yet done any wire wrapping. This video was most helpful in demonstrating how to measure and make coils I shall certainly try it very soon. Thank you.

Thanks Kathleen. Sometimes those little tricks are what makes all the difference. It is worth practising first, but once you have got the hang of making the spiral I am sure you will find lots of other uses for it.

This is a great and such a simple idea. I've had problems with one of my pendants slipping around no matter how much a tighten the bail, the hook fastening seems to slip round. i love the bracelet too, thanks Pru,

Thanks Vin. The way something hangs is so important. I do lots of wearer trials with my designs and I am always interested in how they hang after they have been worn for a while. I hope this works for you.

This is very nice, a nice way to make a bracelet. I'd love some ideas for hanging pendants on Beaded Kumihimo, usually I use nice bails, especially for the ones I want to sell, but I do have others that I keep or give away as gifts. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks Jodie. This one really is easy. If you have not done any wirework it is worth practising on scrap wire first.

Dear Pru. What a brilliant idea! I'm new to Kumihimo, but I can see from your videos, that I have to get my hands on the Prumihimo disk too ;-) Where do you get your materials; I can see a lot of things in your videos, I've never seen before? I buy most of my materials in UK and US. I love your videos; you are truly a born teacher!

I am in the UK so most of my materials come from UK bead shops, such as spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk, riverside beads.co.uk or Stitchncraft.co.uk

Another very informative video! Very clear, detailed instructions. Can you use this method of making a loop using beads - say 8/0 (I'm in the U.S. so I don't know the European sizes)?
@Prumihimo
@Prumihimo 7 лет назад
Yes you can Anita, but the beaded braid would be wider so you would need more wire. Try using the wire from the reel. Make the first spiral, wrap around the braids as many times as you like and then mark off what you need for the second spiral and cut through the wire.
