Only when starting to do leather work did I realize what a high level of skill you have attained. You are right, doing manual tasks on cheap leather again and again is the way to build craftsmanship. Thanks for all you do!

Thank you for being such a huge inspiration for me, you were my motivation to start working with leather. I would love to see you make a phone case that wraps well around the phone (like a wet molding technique). One that is simple and thin and that hugs the phone. Thanks again for being so awesome!

I dig the design. Simple. Clean. Relative to a project, I have been sketching out a pencil case. When I was young and in school I had a tan pencil case that was almost like a leather tube with a zipper. As a kid it was the magic pencil bag. In my adult years I look for ways to bring childhood simplicities back...because who wants to be an adult all the time.

I would like to see you design and make a “wallet” to hold documents, insurance cards, registration and such to go in the glove box of my car. Thanks!

For years, I have been using flexible clear plastic cutting boards from the Dollar store to help with pattern making. They work great! I never knew until today that you sold pattern plastic :)

I enjoy watching your videos while crafting. I just made my first minimalist wallet with a marbled dye effect, using shaving cream. I know in most of your videos you don't do much dying, but I would like to see a professional perspective on the marble dying technique. I would love a wallet you've made , so I can use it as incentive to keep improving my own work.

I am so very new at leather crafting, and I'm so inspired by Corter and Weaver. I would love to see a pattern for a simple glasses case. What's really holding me back is picking the leather - I'm not sure what would be the best/safest leather for glasses. I guess I'm looking for some suggestion as to what would be stiff enough to provide some protection, but have a soft side that wouldn't scratch up my lenses. Love you guys!

A topic I’ve been very interested in is edge paint. Meaning, heatable vs sanded. Or non heatable edge paints. What’s the pros and cons to each. And what the steps are for both maybe. Would be a cool topic I think.

Greetings, still continue to be amazed, with this idea and concept totally, not only in the principles of construct ,but also in functionality. Amazing and awesome , not jusrto watch , but also to listen, as the "draw, cut and stitch " goes along. Awesome wallet! This style of wallet is the whole reason I started googling leather working in the first place and ended up subscribing months ago. Trust that this wallet would find a good home with me. I have a few video ideas to share. It would be cool to see a molded sunglasses case. I’d like to see a folding iPad/iPhone case that folds and acts as a stand. A long, folding, zippered women’s wallet would make a nice project like the Frye Melissa zip around. But a video I’d really like to see would be one that goes into the details like - I see you press your logo into the leather, if I wanted to press my logo where would someone get that tooled? What are the best types of leather? I’d like to hear more about the tools you use- what are good brands, what should I avoid? That kind of thing. I’ve enjoyed your channel. Keep up the good content!

One future aim of mine is to make a hip-bag to carry some leather working essentials to a public show next year. It will be a very complex build for me as it would be built to perform a specific task, but also incorporate lots of different geometry and design elements. (Buckles, Zippers, Belt, clasps etc...) Possibly too much for a single video, but I'd love to see your take on something like that! Thanks again for all the great tips and advice!!!

How about a leather cuff that isn’t gigantic/wide but still sort of simple/masculine. Also, because I’m a nerd I play a lot of board games with decks of cards so a leather card deck holder (not necessarily one that fits standard playing cards but one could extrapolate a basic pattern to fit various sizes). One last idea is leather flip flops. But honestly anything you make is great to watch

Try a holster. A pancake holster with a tooled stiffener. Or you could do a double layer belt. Both is a lot harder than people think. But I'd love to see you go for the holster. I love your work. I've been doing leather work since I discovered your channel and you make it look so easy I thought hmm I could do that lol. Well it wasn't so easy of course now I got the fundamentals down and make wallets,belts,holsters,zippo cases wet formed etc. I do tooling a lot now. Thanks for all the info. Love the new format where you teach what you're doing.

Great video. I'm about to take leathercraft up as a hobby and have a suggestion for a small project. A leather key fob cover for the ones like the GM fob where the key slides out of the side.

I downloaded this pattern from Weaver last week and make a couple with a few modifications. I really enjoy doing a build along with you two 😁. I also really enjoy your helpful tips. I'd love to see some more videos with some unique dye techniques or even some more belt pouches or small bags.

Make a lidded box! The style could be either separate panels that are stitched together or the more traditional square with the wall "tabs" that fold up to make the appropriate shape.

I would love to see you make a leather tool box that would have some basic tools in it. Also, an airpod case would be nice, I have them and I just cannot afford to scratch the surface. Love the videos, keep em coming!
