Not my video, but I build terrariums. The pink material is foam; it does indeed show on the sides/back. The solution I use in my builds is to paint over the outside of the glass where it shows through. Acrylic paint is fine and can be removed easily when necessary, but enamel paint is longer lasting and more durable. I usually use black.

I would use black contact paper to cover the pink foam. That gives an even and beautiful result!

@@feravyne in NYC most people use like a jungle wallpaper along the back to hide the pink foam.

@@kn1752 If you were doing something wrong, wouldn't you want to correct it? I think it's in bad taste to correct people online- especially on a youtube comment. However, I disagree with your statement far more than what I disagree with him correcting someone online. If I'm aware I'm doing something wrong, and I choose to keep doing it that way, it speaks volumes about me- it's not JUST about grammar.

@@emileejacobs711 I think there are mist makers you can order online...some are for aquarium purposes others are for decorative like that ones used in a buffet setting or something like that.

the mist is dense, so it doesn’t shoot directly up in the air, it stays low. I assume that there are some cracks from the right side leading to the inner tank scape right at the lower level so it spills out into the center

Let it breathe. You have to take the top of and get a led light to put under it
