OMG, guys! Working on the next episode now and you guys won't believe the things that are happening in Pantdora already! Craziness... Ant love forever!
I would never, EVER leave my house again, I would be so transfixed on the constant movement within…absolutely stunning creation, so very many congratulations to you, Sir!
I would have to agree. Hopefully one day AntsCandada would be willing to have some sort of live stream of this display to allow people to enjoy it at all times
@@excusablehoneybee4599 Why are y'all so crotchety. A large number of the audience are young people. It's not a tutorial channel (or at least not anymore), it's a science communication channel. The tongue-in-cheek drama and suspense is part of the channel brand.
When the viviarium is complete with all the flora and fauna in place, please, *PLEASE* make a 24/7 livestream out of it if you can. It would be *amazing* to see what happens in it in real time!
PS - I'm wearing a mask due to the smell of drying silicone and airborne dust/dirt/mold which I'm sensitive to and naturally occurs when moving things around in the terrarium. It's not about virus lol.
With the funding zoos would have and the accessability to the animals alot of zoos allow to keepers, im sure it could go over VERY well. Could you imagine a zoo giving this guy something like a football sized vivarium with a whole team of ppl he chooses??😍
The National Aquarium in Baltimore has a series of animal enclosures similar to this, with live creatures native to the Neotropics. These are in addition to a large, 70-foot tall, walk-through tropical rainforest with hundreds of plant and animal species. I was Curator there and responsible for its layout and species' selection when all this was put together. .
I am so impressed. Your terrariums and vivariums are always incredible, but this? This one is a masterpiece. I cannot wait to see it thrive under your care.
This is by far the biggest and most beautiful terrarium build I’ve ever seen in my life. Truly a breathtaking piece of art, you did such an amazing job!
the way he describes his work process at 14:12 really helps me see this as not just a scientific endeavor but an artistic one as well, a beautiful living sculpture lovingly crafted from antscanadas love of the earth and her life, idk i think theres something really beautiful about this, to recreate your own slice of it
The landscaping of the vivarium looks way better than some zoo exhibits for smaller creatures that I have seen in person. The attention to detail and the cloud forest aesthetic really sells the look of the set-up.
I'm gonna be honest here. I've watched you since your early days when you've had little ant farms full of ants, to you making your own ant farms, and even making custom terrariums. Now you have a whole ant house. You even made your own little rainforest! You still inspire me to this day. Whenever I think of starting a terrarium for a reptile or some bugs I always think back to your videos and how cool it would be to make something similar! Sadly I don't have the house space for any terrariums. Glad to see you're well! Continue inspiring people and creating these amazing projects! So proud! 😊
If the glass was not properly sealed and had leakage in the water section, it´s quite likely that it might not be well sealed in the rest of the perimeter so you may want to seal all the points where the glass meets the metallic floor and walls near spots the ants can climb on (like the mossy wall), or you could potentially have ant escapees if they dig a nest or climb the moss and by pure chance they find a minuscule gap invisible to us that they can fit through
That... is a very good point. With so much mist and fog and rain, moisure may very well leak out at the seams... Hopefully he doesn't have to completely deconstruct it to seal it safely
But then again he does not live in the house, a couple escapees would not be such a huge problem I think. Other ants getting in there to raid would be worse.
I have been quietly admiring your efforts for more than 4 years. Although my practice is to NOT comment on any video or other social media platform activity, after seeing you build your home, ant floor, and now Vivarium….it’s certainly time to speak up and congratulate you and the AntsCanada team for the incredible success you have achieved! Thank you all for your dedication, and the money and other contributions you’ve made to our understanding of the world we share with our coinhabitants, from small to large! THANK YOU! 8:36
This looks amazing!! This actually looks like you took a piece of land somewhere and put it inside your house. Truly magnificent! The last time I watched you, you were making funny music videos, and now you're basically making worlds.
When he built his house I knew something good was to come considering their workmanship but this is absolutely amazing, he out did the whole of RU-vid!
I’ve been watching your videos since you had just over 1 mil. It’s been crazy to see you gain and lose so many colonies, moving out of your old apartment and any room and build crazy things like this. Support from Utah.
Mr. Bustos, you have a true entertainer's soul. This was well filmed, narrated, and edited. It's beautiful! Your hard work and artistic vision are a delight to behold. Thanks for sharing your wonderful video with us
man...i remember years ago your greatest achievement was the original fire nation's og setup And now you've created a tiny slice of a rainforest! How far you've come from humble ant farms to detailed vivariums and terrariums! Its been an amazing journey! I loved watching every minute of this years long journey!
Im so proud of how far this channel has come. This man is the most creative, determined, and one of the beat creators i have ever seen. This turned out beautifully even if thair where flaws in the process, best wild life enclosure ever! 🐜✨️
An incredible build. Seeing you stand next to it shows how massive this is. And how much space you still have in your ant room. I can't imagine the stress of building this, moving in that huge stump and the water tests. Totally worth it. Congats
I never thought this video would end up starting a Monday family night. Since I played the first one for my daughter; every Monday night we sit down and watch the new video! Thank you so much!
the seasonal effect was a seriously cool addition to the tank and takes the vivarium to the next notch tbh. havent really seeen something like that in another build
Found this playlist somewhere in (what is currently) the middle -- right after the green reapers unfortunate downfall. This is the best content I have ever come across. Had to start from the beginning. Please keep this going. I'm looking forward to new episodes and so happy I'm not caught up yet :)
This has to be one of the most amazing things you’ve ever done on this channel, it’s so cool! I can’t wait to see what it will be like when the animals are introduced to it.
This is the exact video i need back when i was building my virst vivarium. You did so well! People wouldnt believe how many littler things you have to consider especially when adding animals. I'll def check out the rest of the playlist. I have so many questions on how you pulled off something SO amazing
23:27 A jumping spider! What a joyous surprise! This is the best animal to see first, AC. What a welcome addition to these new lands! Of all the animals to make an appearance, this alert and curious little guy warms my heart the most.
This is the most beautiful enclosure I've ever seen in all my 47 years of life. I've been to zoos, aviaries, sanctuaries, science centers....and this tops it all. This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in someone's home. You have created an unparalleled treasure of art and nature.
I've watched since 2008 and this is by far the best thing I have seen you design let alone anyone on RU-vid. The possibilities are endless as to what to put in it, it's almost too perfect 👌 I absolutely love it and I've done the same things myself since I was 4yo. I'm now 37! But nothing compares to this!😅 And dang dude, your getting buff!
I remember when you officially released your very own AC ant farm supplies and it was so exciting, all these years later and I feel like we’ve grown up together. This build is stunning and I’m so excited to watch the plants grow out and the animals behaviors. We love you AC, ant love forever ❤
Wow so nice to have a rainforest in your house. I'm already waiting for next week when you start adding the ants and other animals to it. Great work 👍👏
I’ve been following you way before you even built your ant house , when was still in an apartment and I can gladly say you’ve really outdone yourself this time. Each project is better than the last, thank you for being so dedicated 😊
Looks wonderful. I've also made terrariums all my life. I'm not even sure what inspired me to start. I just remember I used a large pickle jar for it. I still love using glassware with interesting shapes that I find various places like junk shops.... everything from microsized worlds to a giant, old real glass water bottle that used to be common in office water coolers until they went to plastic. That was a real challenge creating it all through the small 3" opening at the top.
Don't loose faith when the setup is setteling and the nonstop small fixes it needs to be perfect! Keep up the hard work and stay focused on the project brother! Looks fantastic at it's peak of being finished!
Long time watcher, you always blow me away with your builds. They've just gotten bigger and better with every single video throughout the years. Your experience and passion so clearly shines through with projects like this. Can't wait for your ants and animals to have their own house instead of an ant room 😂
I am nearly speechless, Mikey! This is EPIC! I literally got full body chills with awe from how beautiful you've made this environment. I don't think there is anything else like it and a fitting celebration of 5 million subs! You deserve it so much! Cannot wait for this journey! Thank you for taking us along! ❤❤
I'm beyond obsessed with this. I wish I had the fortune to make this because I would just lay in it everyday and when I'm not in it I'd be sat nose to glass to watch it! Brilliantly done, I love it ❤
Wow!
This is absolutely stunning! The clouds, the vines, the rock wall, it's all perfect! And that first spider is so lucky to live there. I call him Tommy. I was thinking you could maybe set up fixed cameras around it, and do a continuous livestream for people to tune into every now and again. Maybe not on RU-vid. It could run totally automatic, cycling through the cameras. It would be totally epic!
WOW...this is incredible!!! I wish that you were my nabour, and I could come over every day and see the progress and what is happening. Thank you for your hard work. I will be watching to see what happens next. This is very cool.
I think your channel became so successful because every child wanted an ant farm as a kid and literally every parent said HECK NO 😭👍🏻 we appreciate you bringing our childhood dreams to life
It’s so beautiful, taking a giant yet tiny piece of nature and putting incased in glass inside a building makes it look like a doorway to another world. It will provide an undisturbed free life for the animals in it, and the cycle will go on forever. I can’t wait to watch the progress!! Great job!!🌿☘️🍃🌾🌱🪵🌧️
This is amazing! I especially love how you left the tree stump mostly bare instead of it being hidden by plants. I've put off watching each part of this series to binge and more fully enjoy the build and stocking of it. This is truly an achievement to be proud of.
Really pretty! Just a...I guess idea is the word, but I would really love it if you included something that flowered or even had fruit in the terrarium, it would be interesting to see how that would affect the the animals
I have NO idea why this video showed up in my YT feed and therefore this is the first time here for me... BLOWN AWAY! It is truly unbelievable what you have created........truly ASTONISHING. To each their own obviously.... There are people who enjoy watching a rare piece of art (in whatever form or shape) but being able to watch this micro eco system develop 24/7 is PRICELESS.
@@AntsCanada Thank you! I am truly in awe of what you created...PANTDORA could (should?) well become the best scientific approach to understanding that gorgious animal world that few people EVER get to experience. I salute AND envy you for having the innate passion, knowledge and perseverance to pull this off......Amazing. Merry Xmas
I would love it if after it is all done with everything added into it.. 😁 If we would get the odd 10-30 minute hidden videos of just watching all the critters in it with soothing music playing! 🥰
I absolutely and completely apologize for not finding you earlier, but now that I have I must tell you that your channel is my favorite! I look forward every day to your past videos that I am now discovering. I even like your sign-off; Ant Love Forever! Thank you for being such a great and inclusive host!
I’m a big fan of your videos! I’ve been watching you for so long (since I was in middle school) and I am now recent graduate. The cinematography is really spectacular. Keep up the great work!
I have just discovered your channel this morning, this vivarium is a masterpiece I can't imagine how proud you could be, félicitations 👏 I will watch all the season of this amazing and educative show with the passion and the curiosity of my inner kid 😁
It's amazing truly epic . My favorite is that waterfall it's beautiful it all came together so natural looking. I can't wait for more video to be updated on this . Your skills is amazing and I can't believe you did that in 5 days congratulations 😮❤
I started watching at the beginning of season two and it blows my mind how far Pantdora (and this channel) have come. You have such passion for everything you do and millions of us are grateful that you share it with us. Much love from Canada!
This has just blown my mind. Absolutley outstanding setup, and along with your incredible narrative, i felt like i was completely immeresed in pantdora. I can't wait to continue with this series. Thank you and bravo 👏 😊
Thank you! Yes, you understand! The thing is in nature, these laterally strung vines usually aren't this low to the ground so for a long time while I was trying to figure it out, it looked odd. Thanks for watching. Ant love forever!
