I saw your video and I was intrigued. I'm not a Baker, but will occasionally bake cakes. I decided to do your lemon cake for my family's Thanksgiving dinner and it was a hit. When I did the batter, I thought I messed up because it was so thick; however it baked really nicely. The only substitutes I used were butter instead of oil and lemon juice in place of water. Thanks for your amazing recipe 😋

I just wanted to tell you but I made the pound cake but I use Duncan Hines cake mix when I say that cake came out good you came out perfect I want to thank you for that recipe my daughter
Making this cake now for Thanksgiving. I didn't have the lemon pudding, I forgot it so I used vanilla pudding instead, and added a little more lemon extract. I also added a small amount of lemon extract to the frosting my cake is baking now👌🏽
Hey Sis...love this recipe I tried it and it came out GREAT...I used the 4 tablespoons of water...you need to change it in the info box you have teaspoons...I followed you through the video and you said it right there...keep these videos coming...great job!

I add a quarter cup of coconut rum to the cake batter. Then another quarter cup of rum in the icing. Its off the chart delicious!! Another good addition is half a cup of black poppy seeds......YUM!!

It looks so good. If I did this cake, I would not do any cream cheese, I would take confection sugar and lemon juice with a little water and drizzle it on the top. Yummy... I can see why it doesn't last long in your home.
