How to Make a Monkey's Fist Knot with NO MARBLE 

Here is a simple way to tie a monkey's fist knot. Typically you need a marble to form this knot, but this easy method is marble free! This knot makes for a great keychain, but you can get extra creative and incorporate into other projects too.
I am using about 4 ft (122 cm) of 5mm braided cotton rope. I recommend using braided cord (paracord is great!) for this knot, at least when you are first learning.
