The red "Lock" is actually for vertical storage. It is not necessary or even intended to be used while the waffle maker is cooking or in use.

Put the lock on it 😂. Yeah, you stand both sides up and flip the lock inwards to lock it in position for storage

I LOVE cooking and baking, so it's great that Hubby and I are major foodies. We love eating out, and when we do, when we find something we love, I always look up copycat recipes so I'm not a slave to the restaurants. I recently found your channel and have become obsessed with it. Thank you for doing this. You always say we should make suggestions, well, here's one: We recently ate at Red Lobster, and had some amazing shrimp. Naturally, when I found your channel, I searched for the Red Lobster vids but found you hadn't done a copycat recipe vid for the Dragon Shrimp with the "mildly spicy" sweet chili sauce. I LOVE that sauce and those shrimp, particularly the sauce. Can you PLEASE make a vid about that Dragon Shrimp chili sauce? Thanks again for the awesome channel!
