You will never mess up your paracord. Make sure is 550 cord and not a “knock-off” version. Have had my mug for 3 years and no issues. Dawn dish soap, hand wash, rinse, dry, repeat…

How much paracord did you start with i.e. how long was the rope? doh...just saw the first part of video again and noticed length....good job..that was very helpful video..

+Kerri Thompson Don;t cut your cord! There is a mistake in video. You must start with 100inches-250cm. Sorry about that! I corrected...

I found that 40 inches of total length works. It leaves 1/2 the handle w/o wrap and it works for me for all that the wrap was supposed to do. But yes, if you're going to wrap the entire handle you'll need 80 inches of paracord.
