The wrap has four sections: top, nocking area, kake area and bottom. Top and bottom are serving as "foundations" to fix it from slipping around. The threads are twisted in the nocking zone (3cm) and kept flat and untwisted in the kake zone.
I used no modern glue whatsoever, one softened kusune (pine rosin). As artificial fibers are used (zylon), it is quite resistent against wear, when compared with hemp.
To start, cut a spent tsuru in 40cm long pieces and split each in 4-7 individual bundles.

I have 19kg yumi and have to regularly add hemp to nakajikake as it wears quickly, this looks much more durable. thank you for sharing. does the kusune get on the groove in kake? would that affect release?

It does. You need to clean your kake regularly anyway. I posted a video on how to do that too here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zNwrRYHOiUg.html
