Same except you want jumpsuit half length to sit directly on the navel..Then you measure from the shoulder to the navel.. I made mine 20 inches directly on my navel because I have big belly.
Good morning ma, ur teaching as been helpful, thanks a lot, but I don’t understand what meant by if i don’t want band, I will add 2inches to the hip allowance? What if the half length I want to use is 16, must I use the 20 in ur video?
A jumpsuit is a combination of a basic bodice block and a trouser block.. Now, if your half length is 16, what you'll do is to add 2 to 3 inches to your crotch length.. Then join to the bodice, but if you want to use your exact crotch length then you need to elongate your bodice half length.. That's where the band comes in, so you may have to add a band height of 2 to 3 inches to your bodice.

Please ma,where is the right place to place your waist measurement for jumpsuit? Is it on your navel or above your navel for someone that has big tummy? I want to try this out!

The truth is,I've already sewn the cloth and have delivered to my client..I was on pressure to deliver on time so I couldn't record the sewing process. But I'm promising now, to redo the video cutting and sewing process with my own measurements.
