Right on man! Have fun with it. One thing I’d suggest that’s not in the tutorial. If you’re using cereal boxes, once you get it layered up good and it’s dry, maybe even after the clay. I’d spray some expanding foam inside the cereal box and add a piece of pvc. That will help the over all strength and give you something to slide over a piece of rebar
I was searching for some ideas for a project and after watching all of the three videos I have concluded that you deserve so much more recognition! You earned a new subscriber!
I've been making my tombstones out of rigid insulation foam, and while that stuff is good to work with, it gets very expensive when you're outfitting a whole cemetery. I've got one stone in particular in my head that would lend itself well to this method., so I think I'm going to give it a try. I don't know if I'll be able to get it done for this year though, we're running low on time.
Great idea!!!but you're like me an overachiever, i think it looked finished already AFTER the white wash!!! Btw have you ever tried mixing paper mache with tea leaves??
Tea leaves ? What does this do for the mixture? Sounds interesting. I just got my supplies together for a tombstone if it works out I will continue making some decorative Halloween stuff. Nice Halloween stuff has become kind of pricey. Any starting suggestions u can share ?
