KJDOT I've seen many of your videos recently, and I have to say that I really like the way your enclosures all have a similar, very simple design. It's interesting that you seem to built the enclosure "around" the parts instead of just dumping the parts into a prefabricated box. I like to watch different methods and I pick up little tricks here and there. It would be interesting to see how you determine the measurements of your enclosure from the parts. Do you have a few standard sizes that you re-use or is each one unique?

Hi Everyone! In this video I see a mobilephone with USB Tpye-C connector. Am I right? So can I charge these phones with simple 5V regulator? Don't need an extra circuit to handle USB Power Delivery protocol over Type-C connector? Thank you for your answers.

Try adding a voltage regulator 5v to protect your cellphone from overvoltage when the boost converter voltage is higher than 5v. And use the usb port as 5v charging port and make a output for the boost converter

Solution: Ad a separate 5V circuit for the USB sockets and route the variable circuit to another connector type for other tasks. A similar set of adapter wires can be made for any connector you want to use.

Some phone has internal regulator (they should)... My old Nokia was charging with a 9v nokia charger... Nokia's "AC-3N" chargers have this dispute... Phone get charged, but other equipment get damaged...!!!
