How to make a rattan grip for a fly rod (part 1) 

Big thumbs up, Matt. Not the way I learned to start and end the rattan wrap, but your method just might be easier. Will give it a try.

Cool video! I came by some 1880's rods with rattan grips that are in great shape. Rattan is tough/durable stuff. Jay
