DIY: Learn how to make Homemade Grass cutter using PVC Pipe. Main channel - crazyNK: ru-vid.com... Fb Page: / awesomecreativeideas Thank you for watching Navin Khambhala.
Ok this is really good. I’d be worried about those blades coming off since it’s only being held onto the motor shaft with glue, or the wood breaking if you accidentally catch it on something hard but the build is super simple and looks pretty effective. Nice work and thanks for sharing. I am going to replicate my own version.
This might be the most unsafe thing I've ever seen in my life. Jesus. Segmented blades? No shroud!? Glue!? Hose clamps on slit PVC!? Please, viewers, if you build this, be careful.
Lets be real though anyone who makes these to actually use is a moron. You wouldn't make it 5 feet before you cut through your own wires. But i still think it's an awesome project.
A great idea, please allow me to add a suggestion. The shaft of the motors support the weight of the unit. They will fail quickly. I suggest you support the wheel in a separate axle and then gear or belt the motor to the wheel shaft . Great work.
@Astra Racing Also this is NOT radio-controlled... and the current design is the one we're talking about, not other possible designs. Disabled/elderly people who have trouble walking would not be helped by this... unless their lawn is only a 3 foot by 3 foot square, and they used their wheelchair/crutches etc to get them close to it. LOL. Maybe you did not watch the whole video?
Hi Navin, I really loved this video. I think you were extra creative with the piping but there was (as far as I can tell) real originality and innovation in lots of places including the wiring. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for the inspiration! I'll recycle some card boards, card boxes, and use white glue to make an extreme light weight grass cutter similar to this. I want that by dragging it sliding along the lawn and it will collect those cut grasses in the box.
Very good project to do in our home, cheap materials and something very practical. The only adaptation that could be made is to cover the blades a little for better protection. but in general this is very good.
@@michealwilliams7788 Not really, given what the word remote actually means. re·mote /rəˈmōt/ adjective 1. (of a place) situated far from the main centers of population; distant. "a remote Oregon valley" synonyms: faraway, distant, far, far off, far removed; More dim and distant "doctors who practice in areas remote from hospitals" isolated, out of the way, outlying, off the beaten track, secluded, in the depths of …, hard to find, lonely, in the back of beyond, in the hinterlands, off the map, in the middle of nowhere, godforsaken, obscure, inaccessible, cutoff, unreachable; faraway, far-flung; 2. having very little connection with or relationship to. "the theory seems rather intellectual and remote from everyday experience" synonyms: irrelevant to, unrelated to, unconnected to, unconcerned with, not pertinent to, inapposite to, immaterial to, unassociated with, inappropriate to; More foreign to, alien to; rareextrinsic to "the parables may seem somewhat remote from modern times" antonyms: relevant noun noun: remote; plural noun: remotes 1. a remote control device. Origin late Middle English (in the sense ‘far apart’): from Latin remotus ‘removed’, past participle of removere (see remove).
@@michealwilliams7788, remote control means you are sitting in the shade under a tree or your porch with an RC radio controller and a cold brew. He's following that thing around. Swap the two wheel motors for a handle.
Great invention! I think I would use a weed Wacker wire to cut the grass so I don't have to worry about razor blades lacerating people and pets when they inevitability break off
love those old silent movies.. ugh! How do you expect it to stay together with no glue? Glued blades to motor OMG! LOL!!! Back in the 50's when wired remotes were a thing, I loved my "remote" controlled car... For about 15 minutes. What a character!
Many safety ponderables but fact is a great idea : There is no clean battery powered remote RC controlled/ towable lawn mower for smaller enterprise on the market Everything is petrol engine. Well done
Add some clear plexiglass covers on all 4 sides and you have a shield to protect from kick ups and accidental blade loss. I don't know how but I would imagine you could use a rasberry pi or an arduino board to make this truly remote controlled. Include some way of raising and lowering the blade height.
la verdad esas cuchillas son muy peligrosas estan precortadas a proposito para romperse con facilidad, hagan el cable muuuuyy largo, no querran estar ahi cuando salga volando un pedazo
This is an awesome project! I would like to build one like this, and i already watched the video a dozen times but i keep struggling to find some parts. Could you please tell us or specify which parts did you use, and if possible where can we find them? Thanks!
I recommend a few things that might make it easier “1 instead of using battery use 2 6s lipo’s” “2 use a esc with those batteries” “3 use receiver and transmitter so you can get wireless long range” “4 use servo’s”
Daniel Whitehead someone walking down a sidewalk who wouldnt know any better could get nailed with those flimsy glued on razorblades. Shit design really.
SNÅKEFEEL so make a case? I liked how simple it was. Im planning to add a 15$ flight controller with gps and relays to control the wheels. Probably card board would make due for basic safety. It would be a blade fragment and not a direct launch if it broke.
Miles V I took this more like a very basic prototype to show the basics. im planning to recreate but glad someone mentioned blade safety cut i would have probably ignored that.
