Yes I would love to see you make stays!! I want a pair sooo badly but I’m super intimidated by using boning. I have a recently-purchased awl, grommet kit, and boning just sitting in my sewing cupboard unused due to fear. 😅 I think this belt would be a great introduction to these tools though, so thank you for the inspiration! I am completely with you! I have been wanting a pair of stays for so long but I am with you! I find everything about corsetry rather intimidating but this is my toe-dipper and I recommend you go for it and give it a try! It's also not as much "wasted" fabric if you are not happy with it! And send me a photo when you finish it 😍 I also bought a grommet press as a kick in the butt to finally start making something corset-like 😅 P.S: you are too kind!
