Wow, I wrap mine w/fabric & love the Walmart brand too. Never thought to embellish it. The heart shaped coasters I made were a big hit w/Johns Hopkins Hospital. Thanks for sharing this unique technique! ❤ 💜 💙
Love the bowls and your tutorial. You are such a kind person, and don't worry your mom knows you made the bowl for her. 😇 I have watched many tutorials and yours are some of the best I have seen. Thank you ❤
Welcome! Here in the US we are in Spring and it’s warming up! The rope can dry overnight but if you put a fan on the rope it will dry quickly. Please check out this video that shows how I make a rope planter and insert a plastic liner for plants. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-okXd1SPOYlQ.htmlsi=YPdyLCGTbFh_zmmL Hope this answers your questions. Thank you for watching!
I believe that Walmart rope has a poly core and cotton braid onthe outside, that makes it stiff. I'm curious about the paint as dye...Does the paint transfer? How permament is the color? I've never heard of dyeing with paint. Love the way it turned out with the flower and earring!
The acrylic paint that I use on my projects does not wash out or rub off. It is permanent. If you want a darker color use more paint and less water. If you want a lighter shade use less paint. Check the rope to see if it has a stiff feel. If it’s soft they don’t usually make a sturdy bowl. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Stunning bowl!! I have not tried coloring the rope yet but I need to try it because I just love the look. It seems to be getting harder and harder to get the walmart rope so I buy it whenever I see it.
