We love this kind of rope hanging lamps and we decided to make it ourselves 💪.
We went to @leroymerlines to get the materials we were missing:
Electric cable
Custom made rope
Lamp cap
Led Technology Brilliant bulb
1. We cut the electric cable and the string to the size we want, leaving about 10 cm more of cable.
2. We intertwine the cable with the rope, carefully opening the braid, it is necessary to hold the end where you start so as not to undo the rope.
3. Stretch the cable, holding the rope to hide it completely.
4. Tie a knot only with the rope at the top.
5. We tie the lower part with jute string, making several turns.
6. We make the electrical connection of the lower part with the socket 🔌.
7. Put strong double-sided tape around the socket to attach the jute string.
8. Cut the excess string to the same length.
9. We make the electrical installation in a safe way and we can put the bulb 💡
