I met some Samoans while teaching in South Korea and they were the sweetest and most amazing fellows a man can wish to meet. Blessings D from a cold and rainy Cape Town - South Africa 💖💖💖

Growing up with my grandpa he was a really harsh man about doing a umu the right way a lot of Samoans start the umu by laying the woods down but my grandfather hated that method because the rocks won’t be heated enough so he prefers standing the fire woods up and build around it and the umu will be as aasa as hell he says 😂 I believed it cos I did it and it works and that’s how my dad does it too

Mea la lea e makagofie ai le agagu'u fa'asamoa....pe aga iloa kamaiki samoa lae ola i fafo fai mea ia. That's why the samoans that grew up on the island and went to school there are the best kind of samoans anywhere.
@avilik13
@avilik13 5 лет назад
Torch Live funny you say that because in my family it's the opposite. My brothers and cousins lega fagagau i fafo do the umu pea fai mea le makou aiga and my cousins who were born and raised in Samoa just faasasa'o i luma e le iloa fai gi mea. My hamo born cousin was also shocked that I could vavalu kalo because she doesn't know how to. Don't sleep on us that were born outside of Samoa. It really depends on the person because a lot of Samoa born people I've met are the biggest fia palagi.

Ignorant! Samoans outside Samoa ua ola ma atinae ai aiga i Samoa. Koe mafaufau la ile faiga o lau kala. Faapea oe e koe faia gi umu i fafo? Mea ga e maua i lou le malamalama.
