How to Make a Sazerac, the Rye and Absinthe Riff on an Old Fashioned 

This quintessential New Orleans cocktail, the Sazerac, has a beautiful spice character from the rye whiskey, compared to an Old Fashioned that would use the sweeter bourbon.
