This video is showing how to make a seamlss beaker using the ‘sausage on a stick’ method 😆 and has some useful information on how NOT to raw glaze too - enjoy!
Another thing that im involved with that you might like to look at is @potterybrunch club - its a monthly zoom pottery workshop taught by me but with the delightful addition of a proper meal chucked in made by @beththefreerangechef...
We deliver your pottery kit and food to within 10 miles of Holt, Wiltshire, UK and then we all gather via the screen for a fun pottery workshop, normally on a Sunday morning or a Thursday evening. All the work produced is then dropped off here to me to be fired and collected about a week later.
Its always fun and you can even join us as a REMOTE GUEST if you just fancy being part of it even if you are the other side of the world... Obviously you will need your own food and clay but its nice to be part of a little tribe and yu get me live teaching you! Just think about that... ❤️👍🏼🙌

You can either contact me here and ask about pottery brunch or through my website or book using the link above if you wuld like to join in - this Sunday 28th March 2021 is Jug Making.
Here is the link to my pottery shop where you can buy underglaze, coloured slips and other lovely pottery related things! 😁:

Hi there Jane! I just wanted to pop in here and tell you that your videos are a joy to watch. My partner and I are so charmed by your voice and manner of presentation, and I've learned a few interesting handbuilding tricks from you - this is one of them! I see that you haven't posted for a year or so and we're just hoping that you've moved on to some other adventures, and not stuck in something horrible that's keeping you away. Regardless, what you've left here on youtube, are a series of timeless gems! Thank you so very much for taking the time to make them and boldly sharing yourself and knowledge with us all!

I’m not happy with everything the same either, infact even if I try to do two the same, it just wouldn’t happen. Love this video, thanks again. ❤️

Hi Jane, thanks for your reply. I live in Iceland and have long wanted to go abroad to study ceramic. I'm 76 years old but I like ceramic. It is very good to watch your videos on RU-vid thank you very much. I have been working on the clay here at home but need to learn more about the glaze and it is interesting to see your quick ways of shaping. Want to follow you more on RU-vid and safe money for a course with you.

Lovely video! Could you make long skinny vases using this technique if you didn’t cut the sausage?
