Does the tracing paper catch fire while the candle is burning?

Thank you for your question! Sorry for my late reply. I use tracing paper or baking paper which works quite well in absorbing the wax. Just to make sure you place the message away from the wick, it should be sinking down together with the wax. If by accident the message is “floating” towards the wick, you can use a skewer or anything to push the message away. I heard some people use a plastic film for the message, this I would not recommend. Happy making! ❤

Just to make sure you place the message away from the wick, it should be sinking down together with the wax. Hi where can I buy the wood wick? And does tracing paper need certain pen to write with?Thank you

Thank you for your questions! You can look at Makesy for the Woodwicks. They have high quality wicks and comes with lots of different sizes. As for the pen, I used those for calligraphy before and it works well. But I heard some uses general ball pen and seems ok, so I “think” as long as it’s oil based pen it may work as well. 😊 Happy Making! ❤

Hi! Which printer you use? Inkjet or laser printer and what type of marker pen? Permanent marker?

Thank you for your message. I use laser printer. Marker pen should be oil based, yes permanent marker should work. As for the printer, it is also ok if you use inkjet, just to make sure the tracing paper is for inkjet printer use. Happy making!
